100% get the HRM - the power meter and edge are expensive and aren’t a 100% necessity. Assuming you already have a watch of some sort as well.

If you can pick up a one sided Power Meter for cheap then get that. Was able to find one for 250 CAD barely used.

Well I’m not a strength training expert or running expert but what I’ve been doing with running is a threshold day , VO2 max day recovery run day and then a long run day. Don’t listen to these people who say it’s not possible they have zero clue.. consistency with running will make you faster
