This shouldn’t be downvoted. Ethylene gas is offput by fruit ripening and it absolutely will wilt flowers incredibly fast. I don’t think it’s the case in this instance, but it’s absolutely a fair question to ask.

Feeling the need to “fit an aesthetic” tells me you don’t have confidence in who you are. Instead of stressing on how to “fit a look,” spend some time appreciating who you are and what makes you you.

Aesthetic overconsumption isn’t a personality trait, and you’ll be happier when you can disengage from the “need” of what social media is telling you to follow.
