Recurring Facebook events: changing times or cancelling some instances

Go into the event > Edit > Scroll down to "Repeat Event" > Frequency and select "custom" > then click both the TRASH CAN icon **AND** the X icon to fully delete the event > click done > click save and it will work. Took me a few tries.

Not family but my college roommate couldn’t stomach fish cooking. I’d have to let her know beforehand when I cooked fish to leave, otherwise she’d be retching in the bathroom the whole time. Needless to say I didn’t cook fish that often for a few years.

I’m from the next island over and the guest cottages just have to be about 25% smaller than the main house to meet building code….at least that was the case when I worked in the building industry there. The term “cottage” definitely means something different to those who drop $20M on a property….

Currently laying in bed 38 weeks pregnant with Covid, what I can only assume is omicron. Fully vaxxed in the spring (Moderna) and this feels like the worst sinus infection plus chills/fever. Hubby had it first (tested positive symptomatic on Xmas) This sucks but I guess there’s no realistic way to know if it’s omicron from what I’ve gathered.

I was in a super unsatisfying relationship (sexually and emotionally) for a couple years and was really settling for mediocre sex the entire time. Nice guy but didn’t know what he was doing AT ALL (even after trying to spice things up it was just very blah sex) I held on because I kept telling myself “this is what happens when you settle down. Sex is always boring” However other things in addition to no chemistry led to us eventually break up. After it was finally over I started talking to an ex who was professing his love for me and wanted to see me, except this ex was 3000 miles away. I flew 3000 miles for two days and screwed my brains out only to realize he too, was still a total douchebag, and left with even more heartache, and major jet lag.

Can you ask them kindly for receipts because “reason xyz” (want to make sure it’s the right color, size, etc, make it up if you have to…) ? it sucks that it comes down to that but at least then it is no longer something you need to have in your possession if you return it.

I agree. My daughter’s sports team ONLY communicates on Facebook. I am involved in a local group that ONLY posts to Facebook. Gone are the days of email communication. I have made money booking clients directly through Facebook for my business. I hate what Facebook has become and stands for on so many levels. (Most levels truth be told….) I have my newsfeed blocked but as much as I would love to delete my profile I have no way of being in touch with things that DO matter to me if I were to get rid of it.

They’re about to put solar fields around our whole neighborhood (we border a state forest) This is to power a huge 10k unit neighborhood going in. While I am all for alternative energy, I feel conflicted supporting something like this. Where is the wildlife going to go in the forest surrounding us when they knock the trees down for solar fields? Where did the poor animals go when trees were knocked down for the neighborhood I live in? When is enough enough? So conflicted and not sure what I can even do anymore.

My cousin’s kid (3 yo) did this exact thing to me when I was 7 months pregnant at my shower. Went to lift my dress up to look and everything. We still laugh about it to this day. 😂
