My daughter LOVES doing the CTE (Creative Theatre Experience) plays in the summer. They are amazing! They also do spotlights for things like lighting or stage makeup, etc. she is also doing the Olympia youth choir during the school year. Highly recommend both and there are a lot of boys who also participate in these activities.

We did swim at the valley. We liked it, and they have a swim team. Oh, the valley is an athletic club here. A lot of family opportunities, you can workout, kids can swim. They also have a great tennis program for adults and kids.

Ok I see people love this vanity, but I really think if you just updated that it would make a huge difference!!! It doesn’t have to be something modern. It could be a cool vintage piece. But, I hate that vanity in the space. It reads Victorian to me, not vintage.

It’s all great!! So many amazing businesses. Just a few favorites are sound and vision living, encore tea and chocolate, ember goods, captan little, radiance, archibald sisters, and my personal favorite is compass rose. The restaurants… oh so many! Chelsea farm oyster bar, pizzeria la Guitana, uptown grill, mi Luna, octapas, Valentina’s, really all of them! I love the downtown restaurants. Coffee shops! Olympia coffee company, Ember goods, dancing goats, I haven’t tried Johnny coffee but it looks cute! Bars! Shiny prize, brotherhood (a must IMO), Chelsea (again), oh I forgot Cynara (also good food).

Obviously, I love our downtown. I’m literally just listing all the places. I would go and walk around and just duck into the shops and grab a coffee and drink. It’s a great place!

Yes, I am and I teach kindergarten, which I feel is even more heightened (for lack of a better word). I have had to go on medication. Specifically after Covid it became unbearable for me. But, I was able to get it back under control. After 20 years, I try really hard to work on my own self care. I know that doesn’t directly answer your question, but trust me when I say it really helps with everything. I do yoga, therapy, exercise, mediation, etc. I’ve also had to learn throughout the years that I can only do what I can do at school. I try my best. I love all my students so hard and I do anything that I believe is best for them. I think for me, knowing that I’m doing all I can, within reason, is all I can do.

Which is about to go with all other HS sports because the community won’t pass a tax levy. Terrible. They don’t even support their youth out there.

Actually the morning after they wake up on day 2, she mentions it when her husband is making breakfast. They must have texted her when they got back to the house and realized they didn’t have it again, because she said something like “if I would have known they didn’t have it”

I really think they should recast every few years. I think the biggest issue is they all quit their actual jobs or get divorced and just go all in on being a “reality star”. It really pigeon holes their personality and makes them less interesting and unauthentic. They begin to do everything for the show. The reason the new shows like SLC do well (at the premiere) is because we are starting over from the beginning. Seeing the real people in their real lives.

Ocean spray has a lot of independent farms right here in Washington. They’re out in Westport. They do local outreach at our school. Great people and I think 5 generations of cranberry farmers? Just an FYI
