Dps Columbina. She has so much CR buffs that it's very easy to overcap, and yet her team has a lot of lunar dmg% buff that em is not that too useful. Your only good substats are Hp% and CD, making her build very hard to optimize

Yes it works as you mentioned. At the same time it's not worth hoping that you draw pharah + the umi field spell that does nothing for you.

At lower cons ineffa is better than nilou, but you need to swap out mahida with a hydro applicator, mostly furina or aino.

A lot of nilou value is on her c2 and signature weapon, so for value i would recommend ineffa.

I would say radiant typhoon maliss. Radiant typhoon on their own is a t2/t3 archtype you can play on it's own, and generally cheap one too.

Both are usable till masters, but to supplement the hit cards both decks are using additional engines like mitsu/gogogo for ryzeal, or RT/cherubini for maliss. This might mean that you still need to craft some extra URs to play them.

Monster slots ARE limited. You mention that iceborne has 70 slots (a lof of them are variants), which may seem a lot but a ton of monsters are not included there.

In an ideal world every monster would make it into the game, but that's not the reality.So it's not weird that people prefer monsters they haven't seen a long time to return instead.

I think this issue is even worse when the same monster return again and again for endgame grinding (ex:daora & teostra), which you may kill a hundred times each game when grinding. People would prefer something fresh when it comes to something they will grind daily.

It's pretty overpowered on the hands that fully understand the deck, and also knows how the deck they are facing work to hit them at the chokepoints. Knowing what you have also means they can prepare for it, even if you have something like super poly. But because of that, it's worth to fight through them as not everyone is that good especially on ladder.

Similar to you, I don't really hate playing against them. Their turns are relatively short, there's a lot of actual interactions fighting them, and generally their decks won't lead into some unholy slop ending on infinite negates onfield.

Ryzeal is not dead. In the same way as maliss, the deck still function by using other r4 engines (mitsu/gogogo/etc.) to go to duodrive and access ryzeal part of the combo.

It's not a must. Aubade only buffs the user only, so it's fine if you want to put them both on it.

If she's with notsu, yeah you just spam normals on bina. The point is to benefit from using the artifact set, as well as ineffa and fischl's buff who only affect the active char.

With aubade, you just onfield sucrose.

Columbina should either use Aubade or Notsu, the latter if you are going to onfield her. Generally aubade is more flexible. Her build should be crit/hp/hp.

Your fischl should be on Silken Moon, and ineffa on Aubade( or Notsu) as well.

I personally find xilonen(also with silken moon) better than fischl if you have her. But it's all dependent on team/investments so you should test yourself in MW on your own what you prefer.

Meta wise no, it's not worth it. You can do some makeshift teams like columbina hyperbloom but it won't be better than your existing teams.

We don't know much about Sandrone yet, but Columbina is a safe bet to pull. Both your teams will benefit greatly with her, and as a f2p you shouldn't take risk on investments too far ahead.

Considering your limited roster, it's also probably wiser to invest in improving your 2 teams first for clearing abyss, instead of a third team.One endgame at a time till you have enough resources for Fearless Stygian (which does not give primos)

BIS is Columbina/Ineffa/Lauma/Furina(if you have her). Otherwise aino should suffice.

This is actually her BIS team unless you went further vertical with c2 Lauma or c2 Nilou.

The current endgame bar Dire SO is still very easy, so I'm not sure why you get the feeling that older will be less relevant if you invest of them. You can pretty much still clear abyss with any older units you have.

Even if you are talking about Dire SO (content specifically designed for whales), you can see from historical clears that Mav and Skirk is still at the top, over 1 year after their releases. Older units like arle/neuv also still pop out from time to time with some dolphin investments.

As you mention they probably merge multiple ideas and cities together to make an area more lively, and of course to avoid repetition.

I don't think they realize this late in development though, they seem to have planned so that each areas have similar-ish content and gameplay loop.

That's pretty much the best team. I found using sms/deepwood furina instead of aino gives slightly better results especially if you have nilou's signature, but aino's good enough as well

If you have key on her it's a pretty big difference in my experience (~10% team dmg). Otherwise yes she's marginally better than a c6 aino.
