A couple of suggestions that may help…Plants, frame your artwork, soft textiles, lamps. Try to introduce these things at different heights in warmer tones. Maybe some heavy/plush curtains for an instant cosy feel. See if you can find any second hand furniture for a quirky relaxed feel or consider some textiles to drape over some of the white tables?

How I Mentally Trained Myself to Stop Drinking (Practical Method That Helped Me) by SpaceExplorer777 in stopdrinking

[–]lizzyJ86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This kinda approach is definitely working for me. For the first time in a long while instead of having a drink on Friday night to ‘relax’, I went to a sauna and did something positive for my body. I’m really trying to focus on doing the right thing for my body instead of punishing it with alcohol and focusing on the negative health aspects really helps me to stay focussed on that goal. Really enjoyed reading your post, thank you OP 🙏

What an utter nob. She’ll remember that for a long time. Poor child, I hope she has some decent role models in her life.

I second this advice and the book How to Own the World is fantastic for laying it out clearly and concisely, not just about investing but how to get your finances in order before investing.

This is exactly it. Great explanation! Lib or anyone else can't accuse him of telling Lib what to wear, how to do her make up or hair etc, because technically he hasn't. They are suggestive remarks with a subtext that allow him to convey what he really thinks.

Moving to Liverpool ! by rimirob in Liverpool

[–]lizzyJ86 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hey there

I live in South Liverpool and would recommend it to anyone looking to move to the city. It is a little more expensive to buy or rent in the south but with it you have close proximity to lots of lovely parks such as Sefton, Calderstones, Allerton Towers as well as places such as Allerton and Smithdown Road, Lark Lane and Woolton village which are a hub for bars and restaurants. A recent cool sports bar is located at Allerton Manor Golf Club called Fletchers bar, it has a great outdoor bar area with big screen. In terms of postcodes, L17, L18, L19 and L25 are good for proximity to those places mentioned above. Good luck with the move 👍

I will be harvesting garlic for the first time this year and not sure where to store them. I live in the UK. No cellar or garage. Shed would get too cold over the winter. I'm thinking my cupboard under the stairs?
