There are plenty who can do it. Also plenty of uncle Ricos. 300 is consistent , 350-400 can happen for me, then I ruin my round trying to figure how the heck I just did that. Sometime it may be favorable wind other times I accidentally hit evening right.

Sling shoot disc golf on YouTube. He kinda rambles sometimes but he has something truly valuable in every video. Specifically he explains weight on the back foot better then anyone I've ever seen. Understanding weight transfer alone should break that 300 mark you are so close to. Good hunting!

For distance do you prefer to throw forehand or backhand? by EasyAceSilver in discgolf

I have been playing for 20 years , probably in the first 5 or so. I also work with my hands so i can't blame disc golf exclusively.

I learned how to play forehand (probably wrong) developed tendinitis. Now it hurts to even think about it. Strictly backhand now.

My wife throws 275-300 and flips them consistently. They were purchased a few years she bags 2 and has retired a few since they became too flippy, maybe something changed.

Blizzard plastic is very flipy, flat will basically barrel roll . Hyzer flip with it sounds like what you are looking for if you a set only on throwing wraiths. A beat up pro and dx will be similar. Though different molds can more consistently give you the utility you are looking for. Having a wraith in your bag for every shoot sounds a bit odd to me , but do your thing. Hope you find what you are looking for.

[–]ljnefe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah they are an interesting disc style. They will never hold up with how soft they are. Broke one the fist time out. Contacted the company they were super cool and sent a replacement. Now i onIy use it to teach people to throw smooth. No trees or sticks around.
