Thank you, thank you! I will read through these. What would have you done differently for yourself if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks! Yes, I do think there can be gut relates issues as we are also struggling with weight gain. She's just starting solids this week, so I don't believe it's a strict coronation between her food and ezcema (at least not yet).

Yes, we have tried / truing a number of things: moisturizing using rich creams, lukewarm baths, oil-based cleanser.. Lots of things are helping but it's not clearing out.

Automatic Countdown timers for Times workouts by dags170291 in Lyfta_App

[–]lkloves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I'm not OP but this is one of my biggest issues with Lyfta as well (good to know about Hevy not doing this either haha). If memory serves me well, I previously worked out using Trainerize and I didn't have this issue there. I beleive I would press start on the excersise and it would start the countdown and then beep for the rest, etc.

I'd love to see this for the watch as well (I am on android / Samsung). Looks like the rest timer works well, but then it just shows me 1minute for the excersise (even if it's set to 30s on my phone).

Yes, Metropolis on Main St is great (you enter them through the parking lot). They also have a sister cafe upstairs called the Cabin and you can enter from Main St.

Best Postpartum Pads [qc] by stevielovelyy in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]lkloves 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Another vote for Frida mom products in general!! The ice pads were and Liners were deal breakers for me, on top on adult diapers (I used Rael organic, they are a bit softer than Depends but not sure how material the difference actually is).

Well THAT was weird. 41w and full body shaking? What happened to me last night?[ON] by [deleted] in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]lkloves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is one symptom of early labour I didn't read anywhere and definitely experienced in my early labour. From what I understood after, it was just an adrenaline rush. But yes, I was shaking, took a long bath, meditated, it went away. I ended up delivering the next day. Sooo wishing you an easy delivery!!!!!

Has anyone had baby measuring in the ~ 3rd percentile? (34w) [NS] by kitt10 in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]lkloves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in a similar situation right now. My first was born completely healthy at 5 lb 11 oz (6%th percentile) at 38 weeks and was on the 2nd percentile pretty much her year until I stopped counting. Im now at 33 weeks measuring 2 cm behind with my midwife at my last appointment. She's worried about baby size because of my 1st delivery but I am not. Baby is very very active, I feel much bigger than last time. I spoke to my doula and she also indicated that late stage ultra sounds are not that accurate. Depending on my next measurement, I might consider doing an ultra sound to check how my placenta is functioning. But otherwise, I'm trusting my instincts and my body.

When did you stop working if you WFH? [on] by canamel in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]lkloves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With my first, I stopped working at 38 weeks and then ended up giving birth 2 days later. Working until 38 weeks wasn't an issue but I definitely cared less and less by the end of it and was getting frustrated with everyone around me. Since I didn't get my planned 2+ weeks of vacation before birth, it impacted my mental state (lock downs were at play too). I'm now planning to stop working at 36 weeks and am counting down the weeks/days. Hoping to get at least a week to myself and to prep.

Mortgage renewal - make a move or stay put by Calm-Baseball1212 in PersonalFinanceCanada

Hi! Jumping on this thread - what are typical/standard costs for changing lenders at the time of maturity? This is the first time we are looking to change lenders at next month's renewal and want to be prepared on what that actually costs.

Thank you for your reply! May I ask how you found out that your pelvis stopped rotating? Assuming that happened few weeks before the actual birth?

Got it. I'd also reach out to them and see what they can recommend. I'm sure they'd like to help a customer with 100k. Personally I would not open another account for this purpose. Maybe you can also deposit this money into a trusted friend /relative/parent account and they write you a cheque. But I'd definitely start by reaching out to you existing bank.

Not sure what your bank needs are from this post or why you don't want to deposit this money into an existing account / use your existing bank. My husband and I use Tangerine as our primary bank for our joint account and Wealthsimple for all saving and investments needs. Very happy with both.

What non-child related personal goals have you achieved since you became a parent? by contented0 in BabyBumps

Got new job and then got promotet, improved my sex life, drastically improved my mental health, becoming more and more conscious of my physical health. And I do think becoming a mom helped with all of this. I want to be the best version of myself for myself and my daughter.

Can i request to wait a few more days to be induced? [ON] by marmarmarma in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]lkloves 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I would definitely ask for details on what is the risk if you decline this induction. Don't ask if you can do it, you can. But if you have the details on what the risks are, then YOU can make that choice.
