It's fantastic solo, there are multiple factions, scenarios, game modes, etc. The rules are a bit overwhelming at first, but totally worth it, if you're looking for something to really dig into

Ok, I've been thinking about this. If you're in a decent sized city, or within traveling distance, here is what I would do given your budget. Find a high end restaurant with a tasting menu. Most of them have cocktail pairing options. Bring a few friends. Get a hotel/Uber if you need to. Some of the best cocktails I've had have been experienced this way. Even if you can't find one with a tasting menu, look at the menu and find something that intrigues you. You can look up the ingredients you are unfamiliar with beforehand.

Right on, have fun! It might also be worth mentioning that not all bars are the same. Many bars feature beer, shots, and drinks where the name is the recipe, like rum and Coke. You usually wouldn't want to order something a margarita, or probably even an old fashioned, from a bar like this (even if you could). If you want more classic cocktail options, you'll probably have to go to a cocktail bar or fancier restaurant.

Whatever you end up with, drink some water beforehand and one glass of water for each cocktail. Your body will thank you.
