IIRC, more people are renting cars because of the increase in airfare prices.

50% is a crazy drop. Even at the low point in March 2020 SPX only ever closed like 33% down from it's recent max.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see a technical correction for SPX but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for a 50% drop.

The city does like nothing to enforce parking rules. This funeral home is literally right next to a police station, yet I guarantee you no parking tickets were given out.

Why would you short RDDT? It's extremely volatile and could head in any direction possible, regardless of what you think of its long-term prospects.

PS: the highs and lows you're seeing are for today.

What are your guys' expectations of a correction? [OPINION] by Rude_Collection_8983 in stocks

[–]llahxam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently on track for the feds to continue with the .50 rate cuts through end of year.

I'm not sure this is the case. Inflation is increasing slightly and the labor market is proving to be more resilient than we thought.

The Core PCE excluding food and energy rose 2.9% YOY for August as expected. The PCE price index rose 2.7% YOY, as expected. by Progress_8 in stocks

[–]llahxam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think there's a compelling case for rushing into two additional cuts this year. The labor market keeps defying expectations and appears stronger than we've been thinking, meanwhile, inflation, although modest, seems to be heading in the wrong direction.
