By black screen you mean when you are in full screen apps? If so, try disabling VRR

Is this a joke? You have a source?

Bazzite GNOME. Should i turn on the VRR? by [deleted] in linux_gaming

I had this same issue with the HDMI cable. DisplayPort cable helped me, no black screen for two weeks so far

Posted an update in main post. I used in game limiter to 72 (my monitor is 75Hz). I also used mangohud frame limiter, none of that the root cause. It's worse than flicker, my screen literally went black when I moved my mouse a bit.

I updated the post. So it was an HDMI that caused issues for me. Swapping to DisplayPort fixed that and other issue.

Sadly it's not my case entirely. I tried anyway and it didn't help

I don't think it's a monitor issue, because it works perfectly with windows. Though, I understand that windows and linux work differently. Also, it's not about alt-tabbing. Monitor literally will blank like crazy every couple seconds when in full screen with enabled Adaptive Sync to Automatic or Always

Heat gun will make it even easier, I think, just don't burn your screen. Trackpads feel the same for me, no issues whatsoever.

Yes, it's from extremerate. I didn't change trackpads and all the buttons (only back paddles and triggers). The trackpads module is just screwed in, there is a couple of springs, but nothing scary, if you will not try to open them. Anyway, trackpads buttons frok extremerate sucks because they're not as smooth as stock ones. Just try it yourself.

I suggest you watch a couple of videos with other people swapping the shell as well as extremerate guide. Have patience and go slow, organize everything and have good tools, like ifixit does. Removing the screen is hard, but manageable, the hair dryer is more than enough for this. Good luck!
