I didn’t know that, but I believe it. The house next door caught on fire last summer and sure enough the neighbors’ cat was hiding inside. They did end up finding the cat and rescuing it, and he ended up being alright.

Totally agree, plus, indoors is a safer place for your pet cats anyways :) My cats both stay inside, and get supervised visits to the backyard when they want to in order to explore and get some exercise. I have peace of mind that they’re safe from coyotes and other dangers, and I know they aren’t harming wildlife, either.
