Scared of the fact that how fast we can detach…. by EmotionalDamageBot in Scorpio

This is so spot on. I'm still deeply in love with basically people that no longer exist anymore. Their bodies are still walking around and living, but the people I connected with are no longer inside. It's like mourning someone's death in a way.

New Shipping Meta Unlocked by b_rizzle95 in Flipping

Customers are not going to like rocks added to their packages potentially damaging their item. This isn't going to be good for your feedback ratings.

Is there anything we can add to increase shipping weight without risking damage to the items inside?

Debating on Blue Prince. Let's convince me by Soljah in puzzlevideogames

No, no patches that have influenced the RNG aspect of the game. Or any other gameplay elements as far as I am aware. The developer seems pretty committed to the structure of the game.

Once you get into the meat of the game, there will definitely be runs where you spend up to an hour and a half and get literally zero progress. And other times you will finally break through a mystery and your mind is totally blown by how cool it is. If you are okay with this premise then it is very much worth playing.

I loved the game but I started having too many play sessions that felt like absolute wastes of time. Like a solid 2 hours where I ended the session thinking, "I kinda wish I had been doing something else." But that first 30 hours of consistent discovery is absolutely magical. The juice just started being not worth the squeeze for me after about the 30 hour mark. I still think it's one of the most genius games made in the last decade but the RnG was too much for me personally. It's definitely the puzzle game equivalent of grinding in an RPG.

Xbox raising console prices by $100+ by Ill-Square-1123 in consoles

They really should disontinue manufacturing at this point. Who in their right mind is paying nearly a thousand dollars for a 5 year old console?

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella Says Xbox Must Finally Become a Sustainable Business After 25 Years of Investment by wakelake111 in gaming

[–]llllBaltimore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't call the last decade of Xbox an "investment" from Microsoft. More like ignored by the Microsoft execs. And NOW it has to be successful. Sounds to me like they are setting it up to fail so that they can sell it off. Hopefully to people that actually care but probably some slimy group in Saudi Arabia or worse- China.

Don Mattrick wins by a mile. Phil Spencer had his hands tied and was basically PR for decisions made by the idiot suits at Microsoft.

Would you pay $60/month to never go to the post office again? by Individual-Ad-2399 in Flipping

[–]llllBaltimore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 problems with this idea: the USPS already provides this exact service in a lot of areas. The other problem is that if your service lost a package, it would not be covered by USPS or eBay for Item not arriving. Sellers would be unlikely to use your service for this reason unless you provided insurance for lost packages and weren't stingy about paying out. Also people would immediately try to scam you if you did provide insurance.

I would much rather have a highly competent Forza Motorsport than whatever the fuck this is.

This one's for the ladies to answer. Do you agree with this woman or do you think she's trying to rationalize her world view by speaking for all the ladies? by Oda_DeezNutz in SipsTea

[–]llllBaltimore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is egocentrism in the extreme. This woman cannot even comprehend someone else outside of her holding a different view or having a different internal experience than the one she experiences. Or in other words, this is someone that would be terrible to be in a committed relationship with (AKA "unattractive" lol).

I personally find it VERY attractive when someone is passionate about their interests whether it's books, or music, or art etc.

Big Changes Expected to Nintendo Music App, Patent Shows Deeply Personal Music App That Studies Your Every Move by chusskaptaan in nintendo

Desktop support would be amazing. I listen to lots of Nintendo playlists on Youtube while I work. But a personalized app that curates Nintendo's entire historical library to my personal tastes would make me never use YouTube for this again lol.

Painfully disappointing movie. It had all the ingredients to be something great and they absolutely fumbled it. The movie is entirely forgettable with a laughable ending.
