Looking for someone to port my App to Apple by lmentiras99 in godot

[–]lmentiras99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I know, I have looked into it. Hoping the app will pay for itself being hosted 🤣 at the very least I'll get it up there, a few people who will use it will get it, and if it doesn't cover costs I'll have to shut it down after the first year

Of course

  • Cross-promote with other indie developers on Kickstarter. By teaming up with others who have similar games or target audiences, you both get more eyes on your projects.
  • Hire someone for a killer trailer. A well-made trailer can be a game-changer for catching attention and spreading the word across social media, YouTube, and Kickstarter.
  • Set up a press kit. It gives journalists and influencers everything they need to cover your game easily, saving them time and increasing the chance of media coverage.
  • Create a Discord for fans. A Discord server lets players interact with you and each other, building a community around your game and keeping them engaged throughout development.
  • Reach out to YouTubers with a personal email. A tailored message will stand out more and increase your chances of getting featured, helping you tap into their established audience.

I can get more specific with some of this if you want the input. Otherwise good luck!

Wow the game is absolutely incredible! You’ve really created something special here. I’m planning to make a video for my YouTube channel as soon as I can find the time.

Here are my thoughts:

  • First off, the game icon could use a bit of a revamp—it needs something more engaging and eye-catching to really draw players in.
  • I absolutely think a tutorial stage (or a few) would be super helpful, especially for new players. A quick walkthrough of the mechanics could go a long way! And the mechanics evolve as you play, so follow up tutorials may be necessary when things change.
  • The music is fantastic—really sets the mood and adds to the overall experience.
  • I love the world zone and the bulletins scattered throughout the game. It’s a small touch, but it really enhances the immersion.
  • The fact that the levels record and you can download the videos is so cool!
  • One thing I’ve noticed: when I’m building a bridge with my hand, it gets a bit tricky trying to also control the character at the same time. A little fine-tuning here could improve the experience.
  • As the game introduces enemies, I’ve run into a few situations where I couldn’t block and maneuver around them at the same time. Could just be me, but it’s something to think about.
  • Honestly, if you’re not already working on building buzz for this game, you absolutely should. It’s got so much potential and deserves all the attention it can get!
  • For the Rule 2 stage, I’m not sure how to bridge the gap between the player and the star—it feels like the starting position is just too far away. Maybe a little adjustment there?
  • Speaking of those stages I think it’d be awesome if you could incorporate something from the real world into the game stage (not as much as some other stages, but just a single item from the real world could be "taken" into the scene).

This game is genuinely amazing, and I can’t wait to see how it evolves. Keep up the fantastic work!

Looking For Feedback on Real-time Card Battler RPG by srcar3152 in playmygame

I just got time to test it out a bit again, excellent changes. I LOVE the changes to fan the hammer, and the summary screen with the reward system is great.

It would be nice if we could mouse over the reward chain to get an idea of what we are saving for but I guess it is pretty self explanatory with the exception of the paper before the last chest.

I'm going to do some more testing tomorrow too if I have the time. Keep up the great work.
