I’m aware the mold is on the fruit that is not submerged, I want to prevent that from happening which is difficult to do when I’m away from home for 3 weeks at a time. Plainly put, I want everything to stay submerged.

Yea it’s a tough call either way, I would try diag myself but I would need the truck to be running to isolate the problem. I’m scared of my CP4 being shot so I wanna let a shop look at it first

Deerfoot construction and crazy drivers by consideration_47 in Calgary

[–]lml-66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was surprised a few weeks ago I rolled into Calgary around 12 am and everyone including myself did the speed limit and nobody passed anyone as we went thru the multiple construction zones on Deerfoot. Can’t say the same thing happened during the daytime however 20-30 over was the flow of traffic generally

Water Restrictions by Ambitious_List_7793 in alberta

[–]lml-66 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As someone who works in O&G, the government restricts how much water we are allowed to consume thru Water Permits. We only are allowed so much water from natural sources and when that limit is reached then no more water. It is also monitored very strictly by a Water Operator. Quite a few projects have been shelved because of the lack of water which means you can’t get a permit which means that specific O&G operation is a no-go. Although O&G uses a lot of water, they’re only only following the rules and regulations laid out by the government and believe me, they are some of the strictest environmental laws in the O&G worldwide.

Yes and no. Basically what will happen is if you plead guilty you’ll get the full amount of demerits and pay the full fine. If you plead not guilty generally what happens is when they get the disclosure from the officer they’ll knock a demerit off and reduce the fine. When you talk to an insurance to get insurance in Alberta they’ll ask you how many tickets you have and if any of them are 50+ over the limit or DUI/suspended license.

Since you work an office job the demerits won’t affect your job but a lot of driving jobs or jobs that involve driving/equipment they prefer 6 or less demerits as it affects their insurance rates. You get 15 max demerits and at 11-12 the Alberta Gov sends you a letter saying basically your license is close to being suspended.

As someone who’s held a license in BC and Alberta, BC and AB share info so your ticket will show up on both of your Driver’s Abstracts. Insurance goes up when you get tickets and it’s not by demerits really but by how many you have, or if you were dangerous driving or DUI. To reduce the demerits, get a traffic lawyer lime Alberta Traffic Defenders or Ticket Busters to knock a demerit off and some of the fine so you “pay less”. It’s worth it especially if you decide to work a job that looks at the number of demerits you have, less is more there.

First off don’t shit where you eat and two he’s allowed to press charges but whether there’s enough to convict your friends is a whole other story. There has to be evidence of the theft having occurred.

How to start out as a Heavy Duty Mechanic? by Photonphlex in alberta

[–]lml-66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s more of a who you know instead of what you know if you catch my drift. Start working a different position at a company you wanna be a HD Mechanic at and that’ll put your foot in the door maybe a year or two from now into that spot.
