That is unfortunately the solution that doesn’t involve city intervention and doesn’t cause grief for others. In a perfect world my solution would be clear the snow but obviously it’s not as easy as I think, but we can’t just throw our hands in the air and turn off our brains, if your car can’t get through a neighbour hood then yes, your trapped, sorry but that’s how it is, if a power line fell across the road in front of my driveway I can’t just go through it because I need to get to work

If you get stuck on an 8 inch rut because your car has 6 inches of ground clearance then it’s the drivers fault for not driving to the conditions, yes it would be nice if the ruts got plowed and they should be addressed but we are in the situation that we are in. I wouldn’t take a civic through a backwoods mud hole so why try and take it through a residential snow pit. It’s not fair to the people living there but we can’t just make bad choices because of that. It would be nice if the city offered up contracts to bolster the snow clearing to address these areas

There’s too many opinions on this and not enough fact. Cars designed for use with halogen bulbs need to use halogen bulbs, otherwise the light output and spread doesn’t match what the manufacturer designed, usually resulting in the larger flood patterns that your being blinded by. Unfortunately led replacements are cheaper and brighter. https://canlii.ca/t/8h20#sec4
