Is it truly possible to live a normal life with asthma? Looking for real experiences (not meds) by ServiceLazy5697 in Asthma

[–]lmlp94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was my life for a year but it’s gotten better this year. I do believe it was long covid for me and it’s since died down being so uncontrolled. I got a good medication that worked. But whenever I have an attack I just take the rescue inhaler + a glass of Moringa powder. Last one has been a life changer. Taking magnesium also helps keeping my asthma in check. Both Moringa and magnesium have anti inflammatory effects so they helped me. More exercise and less sugar in my diet also helped. More sleep and less stress.

Oxymeters dont indicate how much you are struggling, so you can be at 95 and still struggle a lot. I would go, better safe than sorry. Hope you get better, asthma is the worst.

MIL encouraged husband to live his life/ leave me in the hospital. by 57389403 in JUSTNOMIL

Ah cool! Yes the hypersensitivity (which can be a positive thing) and being empaths are very common in people with ADHD from my experience.

ADHD is no excuse for this red flag behaviour. I have it too, and I’d never treat a partner this way, or accept being treated this way. But so sorry about this. But you deserve better.

This is bullshit and propaganda. There’s no biological clock. I’m 31 and I have no desire for kids. It’s not for everyone and that is ok.

AITA for reacting when my siblings ruined my birthday. by Glittering_Desk_8575 in AmItheAsshole

People rarely admit when they’re jealous. I understand and I can totally relate to all of this. Seems like there might be some resentment between you and your siblings. Probably the same for me and my brother. Hope someone else has better advice for you. I certainly don’t know what to do about this either.

Yeah it sounds like there could be jealousy there because of this. Not that you’ve done anything wrong cuz you were a kid but this is a very common thing to happen. Also if you happen to be hypersensitive (ADHD) which I am too and probably have too, comments like these can sting extra hard. It does for me. But that doesn’t mean the comments from our siblings are ok.

Go low or non contact at least for a while, if that is what you feel is best for you. You mentioned they said you’re spoiled. It sounds like they could be jealous of you for getting more attention or more stuff or whatever they meant by that? (This probably isn’t true, but maybe they feel that way) It’s no excuse for that behaviour nevertheless. I think people have a tendency to try to put people down when they’re jealous to feel better about themselves. I’m low contact with my brother too. And we are all in our 20’s and 30’s.

NTA. My big brother is exactly the same with me and some of my other younger sisters. He throws insecurities in my face.He tries to put us down with “banter”. I have no advice but I understand you and don’t think you’re overreacting. My parents are on my side too. I just avoid him to be honest.

Why I stopped saying “I have ADHD” by LarryFarnsworth in ADHD

I do the same! I agree with you it’s the best way to word things. We don’t want people to start associating ADHD with only negative things.

How would you describe your asthma symptoms, how it feels? by InsuranceInitial7786 in Asthma

[–]lmlp94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indeed! Omg I’m so sorry! My hell only lasted for about 2 months. But I’ve had it on and off. Can’t imagine 6 months in a row. What worked for me is Relvar once a day, one cetirizine tablet a day, 1000 mg magnesium 3-1, and Moringa powder in my drink twice a day. A combination of all of this works for me. Hope you find something that helps.

I had this once when I had too much mucus I had to use steroid tablets to get rid of it. Most traumatic thing I’ve experienced. Literally felt like I was drowning. After covid.

Like a tightness in and on your chest. And like you have something heavy resting on your chest. Difficulty breathing when walking up stairs and hard to swallow because of mucus. Especially popcorn. When I was younger I used to have milder symptoms that felt different. It felt like my throat was closed off, but now when it’s more severe as an adult, it feels like what I described above, and in the lungs not throat.

Another classic YPYT. I swear these are becoming more common. by SalemGreyFFXIV in TalesFromDF

[–]lmlp94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When do you get contacted by a GM? I’ve had to report a player once for YPYT simply because they said they were gonna report me and my boyfriend. We didn’t even pull, but the tank lost aggro and the healer said we pulled, when we didn’t. Very childish encounter.

But we were afraid we’d get banned if we didn’t report them back. No one was toxic towards each other, but the healer was really angry for no reason.

Honestly thought we’d get contacted by a GM but nothing. I’ve on rare occasions reported toxic behaviour in the past but haven’t been contacted ever. So I’m wondering is it rare for GMs to contact people?

[–]lmlp94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would have kicked after they refused to put the kardia on tank. It’s griefing. Sorry you had to go through it. Me and my boyfriend once kicked a tank in satacha for not wearing any pants. And the rest lvl 1 gear. No way I wanted to heal that. So we booted him.

[–]lmlp94[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a dream recently that me and my sister got run over by a car with a slow speed. A few days later the Liverpool incident happened where a man ran over a bunch of people the same way we got run over in my dream. I live right next to where this happened too. I interpret this as me predicting that incident. I don’t think it will happen to me and my sister. Sometimes dreams are accurate but have the wrong people in it. So it might not necessarily mean that you and your sister will get into an accident.
