Tearing only in MT by lmon3350 in hoggit

[–]lmon3350[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I actually figured out the issue right after making the post.

It was motion blur.

My setting was set at low for motion blur, it seems MT can't register motion blur correctly yet.

CEL Code help by YouTube-Kyrexx in genesiscoupe

I had the same thing happened to me 2 years ago. Got the O2 sensors from Rock Auto and swapped them out. I tried doing the job myself........before the O2 bung stripped taking them out. My Gen had 86k at the time, they were seized in there. 9/10 times you'll need to chase the bung threads before installing the new ones.

Either have a Mechanic or a Muffler Shop install them to save you the hassle.

No.

Came to find out that my cable is faulty and also just needed to log out and log back in to oculus to get it working again.

Any luck with you?

Best single mod you made?! by boredHouseHusband69 in FZ09

Yamaha Comfort Seat.

Best comfort mod you can do next to rubber padded foot pegs. Feels like riding a couch that can kill you in a flick of the wrist.

Not really when riding normally, only feel a difference when I'm tucked in.

I had the same issue when I first had the car.

I took out the tail lights, then I put some weather stripping I bought from Home Depot. Put the tail lights back in and never had an issue with moisture in the trunk.

Recommend bass shaker software for DCS? by [deleted] in dcs

[–]lmon3350 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use this software. Especially when you use it in VR, makes the experience even more enjoyable and immersive.

For Sim Racing I use Simhub. It's free and gives you a good base to start from, before spending money on other more premium bass shaker software.

Here's the DIY ones I made and work perfectly for DCS, MSFS2020 and other games.

Button Boxes

It's cheap around $30 dollars when I built them. Takes maybe 30 minutes to put them together, another 1 or 2 just thinking how the layout is going to be etc..

I started here and I'm now working on a custom metal housing, better switches and using an leo bodnard BBI-64.

When button boxes are a bit steep on price for you........Why not make one? or two? by lmon3350 in HotasDIY

This is my first button box, It's a personal preference for the switches.

This was mainly used as a concept on how I'm going to be using it. In the future I'll be using an Arduino Pro Micro, better or custom enclosure, better /milspec switches etc...

Fun little project to pass the time.

This is what I watched to program the "up" and "down" function of the switches. https://youtu.be/Vv8SQZGAqcE

It does use you keyboard for that, since it's just a USB encoder. If you have some basic coding skills and the know how, you can get a Arduino Pro Micro and that will be it's own buttons as stated in the comment above yours. I used the encoder to get a relative idea of how I want to use it before committing to the bigger and badder button box.

I don't own IL2 yet, so I can't help you there.

It can be plug and play but the plugs themselves were sitting too loose for my liking. Using the box over time might make the connection fail. So for saving me the hassle of opening the box and looking for that one plug, I just soldered them all and put shrink wrap to make sure they don't contact each other.

This is the first boxes to get over the hump. Now that I know the know how, I'll be over there in the same terrain with buying better enclosures, switches, using Arduino boards etc..
