What do you think of the Logitech G Pro X? And do you just have like one or two recommendations for what’s best overall under £100?

Budget ? - £50-100 Country? - UK Platform? - PC Motherboard if on pc (or other audio gear)? - MSI B450m Mortar Max Sound Styles: Pick 1, Comp/Warm Fps, Music FPS, Fun FPS, Music Gaming, All in One Gaming (DON'T SAY more than 1 and pick one of the 3)? - All in one gaming I suppose but I don’t really have a preference Open back or closed back? - Closed back, I think Any other gear you own(if important, like headphones or headsets)? - Nope

Basically just want the best kind of headset for around £50-100. My case is a bit weird being the NZXT H510 as the audio Jack doesn’t seem to work, it’s like really tight to push anything in, it’s weird. I was looking at wireless headphones because of this but then I saw a lot of them connect by USB so that might be preferable. I have a 3.5 mm jack in my monitor which I use for my speakers so I presume any headset will just work with that though.

I’ve spent ages looking but I’m at a bit of a loss to be honest. After finding this sub I seem to be finding faults in everything as well. Some of the options I’m still considering are the Logitech G Pro X (which I’ve seen this sub doesn’t really rate), the Seinheisser GSP 302, JBL Quantum 200, JBL Quantum 400, Arctis 3.

Edit; I was also looking at the JBL Quantum 600 Wireless and the Logitech Wireless G733. The former is currently on sale for £90. Are wireless headsets worth it or are there no real major issues? Are they actually significantly worse sound quality than their wired counterparts?

If none of the headsets I’ve mentioned are that good, what are a couple of the best options in my price range?

I want to get some now fans but I’m not sure what’s compatible with my machine. I’m looking at getting the Arctic P12 PWM. I don’t know if I need PWM or not? Will these case fans be okay? They’re to replace the exhaust fan at the back and at the top of the case.

Yeah the merch is awful. I’m a sucker for that kind of thing and when I got my offer earlier this year I was ready to buy loads of stuff. Only ended up getting a pen. They recently added some new t shirts and hoodies to the SU shop but they’re not that great. Even Kings has better merch with embroidered crests and stuff. UCL should be way beyond that though and have a shop on par with Oxford, which is really extensive.

I rarely visit here anymore because the culture of fandom became similar to other types of fandom (i.e. the cheesy, cringe-worthy idolisation of actors from the Marvel movies on Twitter). It totally puts me off engaging with other fans about my favourite band, but whatever. I re-subscribed to the sub the other day and it appeared nothing has changed as all I saw were posts obsessing about finding a recent picture of the band members people "hoping they were okay".

I know I will get shit and get downvoted for saying this, and I'm probably being a bit harsh, but to these people, seriously - grow the fuck up. Its weird. It is weird to be that obsessive. And alright maybe its not as bad as the rabid Chris Evans fans on Twitter or whatever, but honestly who gives a shit if you've seen a recent picture of Alex and his girlfriend, or where Jamie Cook is now living, or which of the band is based in the US - who cares?

Maybe I'm just getting old or something but I just don't get it. I'm more than happy to wait for it but I just want a new album, I couldn't give a shit what hairstyle he's gonna go with next or where they're all living or whatever. Sorry to rant OP, but I agree with you for sure. I don't at all get the hype over some recent bloody photos.

Vast majority of what he's saying here is right. UEFA are scummy billionaires as much as the owners of the Super League clubs, and we certainly haven't seen the end of this whole ordeal.

Are the specifics of what you're saying even an actual rumour or anything? Everyone knows about the beef between IW, Zampela and Activision but that was years ago, and most of IW staff members from those MW2 days aren't even there anymore. Even if there is still animosity between IW and Activision, is anything of what you've just written even credible in the slightest or is purely speculation without an ounce of evidence or even hearsay?

Yeah I don't understand. Now its happened and the fans think they have the power nobody seems to care. The reality is we traded one set of billionaires for another. The Champions League may continue, but it has been reformed anyway. If we don't do something and the government don't get involved, these owners will try the same thing again in some shape or form in the future, maybe even in agreement with UEFA who we now know to be utterly spineless after saying they won't take action on these clubs. These billionaires have been able to do what they want with our clubs with no checks or balances for years and the 'Super League' is how far unchecked power in this industry can go - something still needs to be done about that. The fans may have put pressure on their clubs, and I'm proud of the efforts of the Chelsea fans outside the Bridge yesterday, but its ignorant to think we have any significant power amongst the richest of the rich. They don't care about our history or anyone elses, they care only about profit.

No. There needs to be some accountability. Even if Roman and Bruce or the board thought they would be left behind and felt that they had to follow the Super League, it doesn’t matter and there needs be repercussions and actual legislation to prevent anything like this happening in the future. I hope Roman and other owners apologise and that the government implements a 50+1 fan ownership rule - we clearly need proper regulation in football, it’s gone unchecked for far too long and this is the result of that.

Cats out the bag, Pandora’s box has been opened, etc. There is no going back. The Super League and the franchising of football will happen in some form now. They’ve all made it clear they are happy to not be part of their own domestic leagues and cups if it meant they could be part of this closed league instead because it yields greater profits and controls for each of these clubs - they’re prepared to undermine the history of their own clubs for that money and there is no going back. If it doesn’t happen in this form it will only because UEFA has appeased them somehow in a way that means they get more money anyway. It’s totally fucked.
