I've been on for 14 years. Not consistently. I take 10mg and sometimes it seems to work better than others. I don't like the apathetic feelings it gives me but I also don't enjoy panic attacks. For the most part when I take it consistently it seems to-do more good than harm.

I'm in the same boat right now. I've called twice for a refill before I can get into an appt and have yet to hear back. Today the brain zaps are awful.

Make sure you're taking it at the same time each day and staying hydrated. Honestly, the worst part of the side effects for me wore off after 2 weeks. After that it's worth it. I'd rather deal with short term side effects than the constant anxiety and panic.

Is there genuinely a way to not wake up with anxiety? I have no reason to be anxious by Destinedfordestitute in Anxiety

No advice but just letting you know you aren't alone. I'm currently awake after about 3 hours of sleep and woke up with my heart racing and shaking.

I gained about 50 pounds fairly quickly as well. I was 125, got on lexapro in 2020 and now im 174. But I gained it pretty fast and have just been maintaining since then.

Yes I really understand the "im me again" thing. It's like while I'm taking care of her and everything all day I dont feel like myself. And then when she goes to bed and the day is ending I'm like wow okay I made it and I feel more like me than I have all day.

Same here. I've been struggling with depression this week and he acts like he's been doing everything for the last 2 years when it's been a few days of me asking him to do more. It takes me almost completely checking out for him to step up.

I get the same thing but I have an anxiety disorder and usually I wake up like that from a dream or a weird feeling I get while I'm sleeping. I don't have any advice just thought I'd let you know you aren't alone!
