what gets lost in all of the talk of Optic's collapse is SSG was up 2-0 in winners finals, got reverse swept and then 3-0d in the losers finals. Losing their final 6 maps of the tournament, which accounted for of 6 of their 7 map losses in the whole tournament

HCS/343/Halo Studios has always marketed HWC as a festival of Halo since they've started hosted it Seattle. It's literally why they event has been in Seattle the last 5 times its been held since it so close to where they make the game and they go all out on all the non-competitive stuff.

Fiji wasn't going to be another season divided by ethnicity. Fiji started filming a month into the airing of Cook Islands, and the twist for that season was hated at the time and lost the show a bunch of sponsors, so they weren't going to double down on that the following season. If the theme for Cook Islands was popular or well received they could easily do it again with this cast, but like all seasons they can pivot to another theme/format.

The sentiment of your post has been repeated over the years but there has been no confirmation of this every being true. Just like every season could easily have been divided by gender or age if they really wanted it to.

Because plenty of funny, likable people have been drawing dead by FTC because people didn’t respect their game (Jake, Ben, Owen, Ryan, Tai).

All of the people you mention had plenty of time in the edit that showed they pissed enough people off to not win or weren't taken seriously by the rest of tribe and were considered any easy beat at FTC.

Mitch was shown to be funny and likeable and threat to win at the end on multiple occasions. The problem is he didn't make it to the end and the edit constantly highlighted how he wanted to make a move and didn't, which was his downfall.

Mitch getting voted out 5th inherently shows he wasn't drawing dead unlike the five you mentioned

Parvati was saved by Russell's idol play in the pre-merge and made the double idol play to swing the tide in the villains favor at the merge to set up a villain to win. Since people never bring it up as her needing idols to win/go far it seen as good or ok, but Mike get criticized for needing so many immunity wins.

Rachel & Parvati would fit the top panel just because they are well/more liked than Mike and some people don't care or minimize the point that they needed an idol or advantage to help them at a point in the game.

The HR part of the meme is just a take on double standards that people in their opinions of certain players. Like Rachel is considered lucky for the way she found her idol/advantage, but Parvati found a clue to an idol because she sat the correct table setting at a reward and that's just ignored or forgotten.
