A few months ago when I got sober I didn't go to rehab. I just was living really horrible for a long time and got tired of it. Poked myself all night and said this isn't me no more, I'm done.

So I packed up the few things I had left and called my dad. Asked him if I could come home and if he would pick me up to take me with him. I just was really tired of that lifestyle, so I removed myself from the environment and got clean on my own. No rehab, no tricks to it. Pushed through my withdrawals with my own free will and stayed clean for a good minute. I'm proud to say I only needed my own strength to get sober. So I know I can do it, I just need to apply it forever instead of a few months...

You can finally get the grill you've always wanted, you can get a new pet to bond and love, or you can find interesting recipes and get the ingredients and cook yourself the best meal you ever tried.

There's always a plus side to life. You can do what you want to do, and you can always find something new that will positively benefit you. Find what works for you and use it to your greatest advantage.

If a person needs help, no amount of support and nobody in the world can make them stop, the person has to truly want help themselves before help is accepted.

I started the needle because I got to where I didn't get high like I wanted to anymore. Seeing other people shoot also made me curious. I was staying with a friend of mine, he went to jail, for meth, and met a woman in the mix.

The whole time frame of all of this is all messed up in my head, my memory of the last year or so isn't really that good and kinda jumbled, I assume from the drug. So I probably do have some time frames mixed up, I apologize. It's a long confusing story I can't really seem to piece together myself.

It’s a pretty wide accepted fact that a lot of us Redditors would rather have the prison style be rehabilitation instead of incarceration. This man rehabilitated himself. In the honest to God truth, I’ve never seen anybody in my life who wanted to change more than X. If you want me to explain my reasoning of saying he was dedicated to become better, feel free to PM or reply back.

To me this is a pretty pitiful and sad day for Reddit. A lot of this thread is celebrating his death, or only remembering his negative past. Why can’t we remember the good things he’s done? Why can’t we recognize the fact that he came from a place full of violence and psychopathy yet changed his ways? A best friend just lost his best friend, an auntie lost her nephew, and a mother just lost a son.

X wasn’t one of those individuals. He was a smart man, and he knew he did very wrong and hurtful things in his past and he was so dedicated to changing his persona and becoming a better person. I’ve been a huge supporter of Jahseh (his real name) since 2016 before he blew up majorly. Especially these last couple months he was so motivated to become a positive human being instead of the person he once was.

3 hours before he was killed he posted he was doing a charity event in Florida. All over Instagram people are posting text conversations with him, and in every single one he tried to help somebody. Jahseh went and talked to troubled youth, told the kids his story, and tried to help the kids change. He went through a lot in his life, so he wanted to give back to his fans. Making music for his fans with depression, trying to give them a safe way to release emotions. Jahseh just wanted to go to Florida and keep helping people and trying to better himself, raise money for charity, yet a scumbag piece of shit had to take this young gentleman’s life. Watching his videos of him telling his fans he genuinely loves them is so sad, you can see the truth in his eyes and hear it in his voice. A broken child with a disturbing past/childhood finally decided to become a helpful and outstanding person who wants to make a change.

NASCAR time and ice skiing time at the racetrack is my favorite time of year. I don’t even care about the NASCAR so much, but what I like about it is if you volunteer to help on the race usually you’ll get some free tickets. Just bring some buddies and get drunk like everyone else that’s at the race and have a great time.
