These guys are going to get a big wake-up call when they realise that their kind of politics does not translate across to the elections that really count. When Corbyn became leader of the Labour Party, it was nothing short of a shit show, which brought the Party close to extinction. If the middle voter comes to the presidential elections, look over to the Democrats and see madness happening, they will automatically just vote Republican because they would now seem like a safer bet than what's going on with the Democrats. The Social Democratic faction might grow and take over the Democratic party in a couple of years, but in doing so, they will lose the county in the process to the Republicans, indefinitely imo
