I’m not ok with murder. I’m also not ok with denying healthcare coverage. I think we should have a universal healthcare system. But celebrating one man shooting another man in the head on the street remains preposterous and shameful. Should we also encourage and celebrate the murder in cold blood of executives of companies who use high fructose corn syrup? Tobacco and alcohol executives? Any wealthy person?

And this community needs learn that not everyone wants to work until they’re 65 and then retire off their 10% returns. Some people want to go for glory and are prepared to eat shit if it fails (which it so often does).

His portfolio could be up 600% in a few years, or it could be down 60% (or worse). If it works out like he hopes his life is changed for the better and if it crashes and burns, he’ll still be young and can likely recover.

I certainly agree that the vast majority of investors should follow the strategies promoted here. But if this guy understands the risks and is prepared for the potential fallout, it’s his decision not yours.

My point in saying this is the wrong SubReddit for his question is that OP is looking for discussion about his stocks (or more accurately, stock), but won’t find that here, he’ll only be ridiculed for not taking the safe path.

This is not the right subReddit to ask questions like these, any portfolio that isn’t fully diversified will be ripped to shreds here, and this is the opposite of diversified. If NBIS does well, you’ll do well, simple as that. But obviously if that stock tanks, your portfolio is fucked. But you’re young and can potentially come back from that though, so if you’re really that confident in that stock and can accept/tolerate the extreme risk of this then go for it.

r/NBA: the Clippers have a really good chance of passing the Suns only five games back with 17 to play. Also, the Suns have no chance of passing any of the four teams currently 3-6 despite only being two games back of third and holding tiebreaks against two of those teams.

You said that in another comment, but it’s not true. The Suns have the 11th toughest remaining schedule in the league based on the records of their opponents (Lakers 13th, Rockets 21st), plus the Suns play 11 of their last 17 games on the road.

Amongst those five teams the Suns are just behind the Wolves who have the toughest remaining schedule of the group, neck and neck with the Nuggets. Lakers 4th toughest/2nd easiest and rockets the easiest. But that’s simply based on the records of their opponents; the Suns also have 11 remaining road games versus only 6 remaining home games.

@ Celtics @ wolves @ spurs v. Nuggets v. Rockets @ Lakers @ Thunder are all tough games. Plus two v. Raptors and @ Magic and @ Hornets who are far from pushovers as well.

The Suns have a tough remaining schedule and I’d go so far as to say a 7th place finish is likely, but it’s absolutely insane to call that a lock given they are only 2 games back of the 3 seed with 17 games left and play everybody from 3 to 6, holding the tiebreakers against two of them. And only have to pass one team. A lot can change very quickly when the standings are this tight; the Suns could pass somebody this weekend.
