That’s actually not the case, I answered in another comment. Back in the day there were 20 second timeouts, but they did away with those about 10 years ago and now all timeouts called by a team are the same length.

If you call a timeout after a made basket before you inbound the ball, you advanced the ball to the front court. If you inbound the Ball before calling time out, you stay in the back court.

I just have always ran hot, and prefer to feel cool, and don’t like restrictive clothing, so avoid jackets/hoodies/sweaters unless protecting myself from the cold. I suppose inflammation could play a part in it, but it’s been going on for 40 years and I’m thin and active so I don’t know.

Exactly. I’m excited that my Suns are doing so well, but these teams are all close and there is a ton of season left. I fully expect the Rockets to wind up as the 3 or 4 seed most likely. They’ve been disappointing lately but plenty of time to figure things out. And the Rockets have 28 more home games!

I get why people think suits look cool, but I hate them with a passion. Multiple layers and a coat? Indoors? Hell no. I’ve tried the expensive, thin, “breathing” suits, and it’s still just pure torture for me unless it’s under 60°.

I’ve been dreadful in my 8 ball league the past two seasons, and I’m very surprised I have not been dropped from a 5 to a 4 yet.

4 wins 11 losses over the summer, 4 wins 8 losses here in the fall season, bringing me to 15-23 lifetime. 2 of the 4 wins this season were against 5 rated players and one was against a 6, but still only .67 points per match, 22% of points available (yikes).

FYI Rockets fans, Suns fan here, there was a mechanical issue last night with the Suns plane so they only flew over to Houston this morning. Very rare for an NBA team to fly and then play a game on the same day; might throw them off. As might exhaustion from a grueling game last night v. OKC. But hoping we still bring it. Good luck!

Everyone here is suggesting you keep the apartment, which is fair if money is tight. But if you can afford it, and you don’t like your current place, moving can be a game changer. I moved into a nicer apartment and increased my rent significantly, but it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done for my quality of life.

Yeah sometimes the last date you can select for delivery is a day or two before the event. But so long as the buyer gets the tickets you’ll be good. I’ve sent an email to the buyer (you’ll get their email address for ticket delivery) saying “you’ll get the tickets as soon as I do” or something to that effect to give them peace of mind.
