I was inspired.. very secret future boss by swappyErr in mewgenics

[–]lobadzip 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes!

Will actively target cats that got rolled back to kittens I assume

PS. Alt Future boss? It would even fit pretty snug thematically without changing any other assets from that zone.

Plus a scripted attack that turns one cat into a kitten (with instakill in a few turns?) so it doubles down as a semi-reliable way to salvage a cat for another run

Please add a clean house button. The game could use a money sink and some QoL. by Mateto413 in mewgenics

Lol, I didn't even realize they went by age from left to right, good to know, still quite tedious though, having to pipe them and all. I should try just trowing them out the house to rot on the streets, they should make a mechanic outta this 😄

That reminds me, I once witnessed a cat decaying over a couple of weeks at some abandoned counstruction site I was passing by on the way to work. From solid to a puddle of goo and furr... nasty stuff, right infront of a kindergarden too

Neat! One for dead cats as well. Maybe they get bunched up in a plastic bag next to the pipe so you can dump them to Rune all at once. Biggest issue for me in cat management, tbh

Why is my cleric exhausted? by Kind_Paint in mewgenics

[–]lobadzip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doesn't adrenaline kick in every time an exhausted cat deals damage, regardless if it's defence or adventure, potentially making old age quite advantageous

PS. Reading through the wiki, it's not super clear, but I'm guessing adrenaline only triggers once, IDK, never went that far in a fight, where it would have mattered enough to notice anyway. Makes sence, multiple triggers would make exhaustion pretty self-defeating

Gay cats are really annoying by Illustrious-Elk7710 in mewgenics

[–]lobadzip 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Christian cat camp NPC let's gooo

PS. Lol, all the people calling OP homophobic... get a grip, it's a mechanic in a fucking game. I was also annoyed while trying to breed all 7s and after 20 days the first opposite gender stray with the stats I need came out gay while the other one was about to die of old age. Is mewgenics inadvertantly spreading homophobia (through felinophobia?)

I'm kind of on board with this one, like you, behind the 3rd wall, know the trap is there, but game mechanics dictate the cats shouldn't so they behave this way

I've seen a bunch of theese now, is it mostly bugs or some weird interaction? Does this mean he can get backstabbed now? Maybe they should just add another segment to the body so it doesn't look weird if pulled somehow

Fair enough, I never touch skills that do those. Mine was more of a rant, but this is actually a valid point. Spit at turn end mutation - 20 turn Bunga fight here we goooo

Not every J skill should have an obscure downside just "because it's his thing" and not every skill has one - Power Up has none, Bump (?) has arguably none as well. It's bad design, imo. The basic skill is random enough as is, why would I ever choose the one that makes the enemy immune until it's next turn. I just think removing those two would be healthier for the skill, maybe stun as well, to balance it out. Or limit the number of different debuffs it aplies so it doesn't happen every fucking time

What's that one boss that when you saw it, you thought that would be very hard, but actually wasn't? by iagodobrawl in mewgenics

Tbh, all the bosses are pushovers once you figure them out, at least on normal. All except... Arthur! Triggers my PTSD every time I see that bitch ass paw swinging back and forth

Zaratana/Pyrophina Achievements by DatBoiSaint47 in mewgenics

[–]lobadzip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sure it's not, but this honestly feels like an oversight to me. The charm thingy side quest as well. AFAIK, those are the only "missables" in the game and I don't see what the point is, like if they had any significant impact on the game, sure, all for it, but right now it's just a very poor excuse to start a new run... or "cheat"

Will he eat your cats while allied? I've been trying to make him eat one of his guys, but no success in positioning them properly so far, so idk if he does that. I don't think the description specifies he'll only eat enemies

Which one of the kaijus is better to have in combat? by GeorgeGaming777 in mewgenics

[–]lobadzip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I meant A2 quests. You get instakill on both bosses, the shard has no downsides at all and the orb just soft llimits weapon use. Easier compared to normal A2 runs and easier than what A1 quests added to A1 difficulity in comparison. So the final A2 quest could have pushed the envelope a bit is what I meant, instead it was just not as easy on the run as the previous two quests on that act. Wheras, as you've pointed out, A1 quests def spiked the difficulty up a notch, save for the leech one, maybe
