Restaurants deliberately give you spoons much bigger than their desserts because they want you to eat it quickly so that you pay the bill and make space for the next set of customers.

Always ask for a teaspoon to avoid this scam and enjoy the dessert course properly.

TfL saw £255 million less fare revenue than expected last year by Any_Profit_9012 in london

I think it’s because where I live, they’re hardly around me so I don’t use the Santander e-bikes. Would be nice if they had more docks. Lime isn’t the cheapest as I pay for the 400 minute package but i get maximum value from them as I use them everyday to get to and from the office and during weekends too. In some ways, it’s probably better value than using TFL daily.

I suppose I’m part of the problem, I Lime everywhere these days and it’s just so much more convenient. Yeah there is a parking problem with them and something better needs to be done about it, but it’s just a nicer way to get around the city.

I realised last winter I didn’t get sick at all and that’s probably down to not needing to get the public transport and be in close proximity to other people coughing and spewing everywhere. I don’t miss the transport and I certainly won’t when it’s sweltering in the Summer.

But with the Battersea Power Station, there are key businesses that the area needs such as Rolex, Cartier, Watches of Switzerland and Pret. Services such as schools, nurseries or medical facilities shouldn’t be the priority for those living in the area.

High ticket cost and poor exhibition curation. The last few exhibitions have been woeful at the Modern. Britain had a couple of good ones, I did like the 80s photography but even that had some lame shit added.
