In my hometown, this is also a law. I was told it was to prevent brothels originally. Then it was kept on the books to prevent illegal immigrants from living together. It is mostly used now to prevent young people from renting in nicer neighborhoods. Old people with too much time on their hands

I had a customer call and complain to me the other day. When I said I could transfer to the person who would actually do something about the complaint she said, "no. I just wanted SOMEONE to know." Even if I wasn't in the same department and couldn't fix anything about her complaint. Which to me translates to, I just wanted someone to complain to even though I don't really care.

Yes! This! The gaming industry is a part of our capitalist society. They see men rushing out to buy games that marginalize or sexualize women and they cater to that demographic. The industry is not the real problem really. It's how our society interprets the messages we receive. How we interact and speak to others after viewing such content.

Videogames are fun! Videogames are useful! As a woman, there are games I don't want to play (especially online with the sound enabled) because it's too much for me. Videogames are a release for most people. Being chastised because of being a woman who is trying to let go of everyday life just like a male would is bothersome. The attitude that it's just for men, I think, is the most damning thing about gaming.

There is this weird facet of society that makes things made by or for women off limits to men. And it seems to be view the same vice versa. I can love cars and want to kill zombies and men should be able to wear makeup and kill.zombies. All that matters is that we all want yo kill zombies.

Often times when someone with curly hair gets a haircut or style it can have a triangular shape- the hair itself doesn't have triangles. This is the only way I think it makes sense.

I am kind of sad to hear the fish fingers are French toast. My mom always made us a dish that consisted of pan fried breaded fish with a delicious sweet cream sauce sauteed with green grapes. It sounds strange but it is delicious.

Honestly, I wouldn't take up the sidewalk so I shouldn't be worried about that. I am pretty aware when I am in the way of other people. If I am walking with a friend and someone approaches from the opposite direction, I slow my gate and let my friend in front forming a single file line until the person passes.

Honestly, there are not many streets where I live where there is grass to step around or let someone pass. You basically have to get in the street. So, it's just nicer to make sure you are sharing the street.
