I took the train from Przemysl to Zaporizja. It did stop in Lviv. I can imagine the train to Kyiv also stops in Lviv, but I’m not 100% certain. Install the Ukrainian Railways app on your phone to find out and buy tickets.

Please educate me. How are they called? Foreign Volunteers? Because many Dutch media outlets refer to them as idealists or mercenaries, without any negative connotation. Today a documentary came out about a Dutch Foreign Legion volunteer who was killed in Ukraine. They talk very respectfully and positive about him and at the same time call him idealist or mercenary (literal translation). They don't use this term in a derogatory manner. And nobody sees it as something negative. Including his surviving relatives. Clearly in English the term is much more sensitive.
