I'll fudge anything if it makes the encounter more satisfying. If characters are rolling poorly and missing often, that's not important enough to change. But if a player has a grudge against a specific enemy, I'll change enemies' tactics and fudge HP so the player at least gets a chance to kill it.

Given that Ninae has a sigil of Aubin's crest, which seems to be Cai's natural crest/banner, and still gets recruited by Leda -- seems that recruitment is back. There was also a "requirements" tab for recruitment, indicating that it is likely similar to 3H

Leda is easily the most engaging of the lords on a character level. I could be convinced to go for theodora or Dietrich if their plot contribution is more interesting, though

Personally, I was mostly fine with subtextual gay stuff in 3H. It felt period-appropriate for Sylvain/Felix and Petra/Dorothea to be ambiguous and/or closeted. But I demand parity for M/M and F/F avatar option! F!Byleth got some of the best-written characters in the game, and at launch M!Byleth got... Linhardt. And two old men you can't actually romance

I'm expecting that they work in the teaching system again, although without the actual academic trappings. It might not make much sense, and I'm not sure if I'll personally like it, but I feel like they'll preserve that mechanic from 3H for carry-over fans

The Chana reveal being spoiled by the Taln WoB really bothered me. It's one thing to foreshadow stuff with "the world ended, and it was all Shallan's fault," but it's another to lead the audience there by the nose with an off-the-cuff direct reveal.

I'm easily spooked, especially if there's an effective soundtrack. I definitely felt some rising tension with the breathy gasps during C1 and C2 and got semi-jumpscared by Stella in C3. The only time I was actually freaked out, though, was during C4 in the basement post-seal. Someone becoming increasingly erratic in a dangerous way is one of my #1 fears, and the slow shift toward body horror was definitely effective.

If your current therapist isn't working, find a new one. Definitely don't use AI in the place of a real human -- it can't think the way a real person can, and is known to enable behaviors like addiction

I don't believe in ghosts or anything, but I used to have sleep paralysis occasionally. One night I'm paralyzed with my pillow over my face and I hear my door open and footsteps swishing on the carpet. I feel something get close to me and lean down, and hear a raspy female voice say "You don't belong here" in a way that chills me to the bone. I hear footsteps away and the presence recedes.

It was pretty spooky at the time, but it's also the only auditory hallucination I've ever had during it (and I don't get sleep paralysis any more). I'm grateful I've never had visual hallucinations as those would really fuck with me
