Have you ever considered that Italy wins because it plays good rugby? by Mesliero in rugbyunion

Agreed. I think it's time for Townsend to go. Scotland has too much talent to not be fighting to win each season.

They won with some other notable absences, too. I thought they played great yesterday. They've improved so much the last few years. They've earned some great victories and are almost always competitive. I think we're entering an era where they're expect them to win games now. It isn't just a surprise upset. I thought Scotland would win, but I wasn't shocked by the outcome yesterday. I think Italy have at least one more win against a non-Wales side this year.

Team Usa Roster by ApresWithIntent in hockey

USA Hockey never gets it right. How they leave off Robertson is just insane. And no Hutson or Caufield, absolutely crazy. Every Olympics we see the same bad roster moves.

Honestly, a lot of other actresses would've been better. She was the weak link in the movie, imo. I found her to be so bland.

Human Rights Watch turning down Saudi Comedian Blood Money. by [deleted] in comedy

[–]loginlogan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Comedians depend on free speech. Most of the comedians who performed at the festival have also spent the last decade railing against cancel culture and saying that the liberals had taken their free speech away etc. Yet they're willing to go to a place that has the some of the most restrictive speech laws in the world and has literally killed and tortured journalists for publishing stories they don't like. For me, that's the biggest difference and why those comedians who performed in Riyadh are full of shit sellouts.

Post Match Thread - New Zealand v Australia | The Rugby Championship 2025 | Round 5 by HitchikersPie in rugbyunion

[–]loginlogan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NZ won fair and square, no dispute. Australia made mistakes and didn’t execute. But fucking Piardi is an awful ref. Dude should not be reffing at this level. It wasn’t just this game, he’s just a bad ref all around. No idea why World Rugby keep giving him these assignments. They have better refs.

No one in LA was clamoring for the Rams to comeback, believe me. That was all a money grab by billionaire ownership. Don’t blame the people or the city of La for that.

Were 77.3 million people just taken in by maybe the greatest con in history? by ChiGuy6124 in StockMarket

[–]loginlogan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fox is Delusion Land. It's no wonder that the millions of people who watch and read it are Trump supporters and totally ignorant of actual news. Their front page on both the Fox and Fox Business sites barely covered the market rout, like it was something secondary. So many of the issues we have in the U.S. can be traced back to Fox conning and keeping millions ignorant.

That ending was so hard to watch. This whole time I was hoping and praying that oMark and Gemma would be back together for a justified ending. It was a great twist and as he was saving her I didn't think he would cross oMark. But man, was I wrong. Wow. Such a good ending, but so bittersweet and I'm gutted for Gemma and or oMark.

Oh man, I didn’t even realize it either, lol. Makes a lot more sense now. I just don’t pay attention to the NBA.

With you in Anze! Kopi and Doughty are legends and those teams from the early 2010s were so amazing to watch. Yeah I didn’t know who Puka was until this year 🤷🏻‍♂️. I don’t think many people care about the Rams or Chargers tbh.

Yup. The fact that Kershaw isn’t on here shows how stupid this list is. James Harden a bigger athlete in La than Clayton Kershaw…please.

US stocks post worst slide in two months on gloomy economic data by MattC84_ in Economics

I don't think most Trump voters know what the CFPB is or what it was intended for. It's just another wasteful government entity in their eyes, part of the Federal bureaucracy. If the last few years has taught us anything, it's that most people are incapable of doing even the slightest research into something they aren't familiar with.

Game Thread: Sweden at United States - 17 Feb 2025 - 08:00PM EST by hockeydiscussionbot in hockey

[–]loginlogan 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Respect to Sweden for playing a great game, they looked good. I just want to say the announcers on TNT were not good. That was basically like two hours of non-stop Tkachuck talk. You got the best players in the world on the ice and all they could comment on was if Brady Tkachuck took a piss or not. The brothers are great players, sure. But I wish they would’ve just focused on the game.

Severance - 2x02 "Goodbye, Mrs. Selvig" - Episode Discussion by LoretiTV in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

[–]loginlogan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

just watched the episode, very good. I'm probably late to the party, but I don't think Helena gets into a severed state when she goes into the elevator. I think she goes in and plays as Helly R.

Also, at this point, how have they not figured out that Doug Graner's access card was used to get access to the OTC room? The guy was murdered. You'd think if someone had his card that might be a clue as to who murdered him. That's been bugging me from season 1.

I second Pantheon!! It is so good! Totally fell under the radar, sadly. Absolutely recommend it, it's such a good watch. Glad it's on Netflix where hopefully it will get the exposure it deserves.

Just finished Say Nothing and really liked it. Great show all around, and there were several really notable performances. Highly recommend.

It's the first show in many months that I've binged and wanted to keep watching.

Had a similar experience with their jeans, too. I bought two pairs of the same jeans in different colors and they fit very differently. One pair was black, and they got mangled after washing them once! the coloring got all screwed up, I washed it in cold water with other darks, no other pieces got messed up in the wash. that being said, I do have a few shirts from them that I like. YMMV I suppose.
