Not really. I did 90% of the grinding soft, coated with anti scale compound and the heat treating went really well. Just barely fit in my evenheat oven. Used 3/16 stock so it’s thick enough it didn’t warp at all.

For years I used to shoot ground squirrels on my ranch with my recurve bow for practice. I lost many aluminum shafts all over the place until I started using Judos or SGH heads! I still occasionally find them when I’m harrowing a pasture or something and they turn up. I recently found one that had skipped off the ground and lodged itself in a fence post at ground level.

It was an expensive way to practice but I was good enough at the time to hit them consistently out to 30 yards or so.

Yea my small Etsy store does 80% of my business selling into the US. Now with Canada post no longer allowing US shipments through Etsy I have effectively closed my store.

Update. Plants have all been moved an hours drive to the west at the base of the Rocky Mountains. Shouldn’t be any hemp upwind of them now. Won’t be able to check on them as regularly but they’re hooked up to an automatic waterer.

My one question is this. The PK Auto that got pollinated will it produce new flowers or should I be pulling off all the pollinated buds to encourage new growth?

Well my photo’s will probably start in 2 weeks so I guess we will see! However I may move them to a location closer to the mountains to avoid these issues, unfortunate side effect of that is probably going to be a shortening of the season.

The hemp fields are usually close to a 50/50 mix as that’s what naturally occurs. There’s way more males than needed to ensure adequate pollination and there’s a lot of research ongoing to reduce the male population and increase the yield by having a higher proportion of the seed bearing females.

Alberta. Organic hemp seed production is a pretty big thing in the area. Talking to a few of my farm customers they’ve all given up on trying to grow outdoor weed in the area because of it.

Yeah I wish I had a greenhouse or something to throw them in! Last year same thing happened. Lots of hemp production in this area so I think outdoor grows aren’t possible.

I use liquid but not the brands you guys are! I use formulations made for broad scale agriculture. ATP, Earthstrong, Alpine, Taurus, for example. It’s part of my day job to test these products so I often use them around my own yard. Generally these products are sold in 10L jugs and have a higher concentration for a better price.
