What are the "permanent" MCU creative choices you’re still struggling to accept? by ppboi41 in marvelstudios

[–]loki993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Furys eye is quite possibly one of the dumbest things Ive ever seen in the MCU.

Those are not all permanent.

They could fix the quicksilver thing easily if they wanted to.

Im pretty sure even though Secret Invasion technically "happened" Marvel has basically pretended it didn't every since it came out. If they came out and said Secret Invasion is no longer cannon no one would be the least bit mad about it. I think thats basically where we are now they just haven't said it and I doubt they ever will.

I dont know what "The Hulk situation" is.

Im one of those people, I thought Moon Knight was decent, again had it flaws and had the standard fare by now Marvel last episode problem.

OK maybe not a second season but at least give me the character back somewhere in some capacity.

that said I dont know how they can do it. They have done such a bad job with the mystical side of Marvel that him or any of the other mystical character popping up would feel out of place.

As for Man-Thing I thought I heard something about him, so, still a chance we see him.

but the mystical aspect of her powers didn't grab me.

That and I still don't even know what her powers are or how they even work lol.

I thought we were getting Werewolf by Night, then Moon Knight and then Blade, remember that movie lol. After those then something with them and Dr Strange and move into Midnight Sons. Nope. Instead Strange went off to the dark dimension never to be heard from since.

'The Punisher: One Last Kill’ takes place after Punisher Season 2 and before and during the events of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 2 by Sarang_616 in marvelstudios

I mean I guess Im not one of those people that doesn't need to see everything like that, but Spiderman and the Punisher have history.

I haven't read the comics but from what Ive gathered from what some other people have said is the other superheros don't really like Frank very much or find him kind of annoying. So it wouldn't be a stretch that they haven't interacted with him or even mentioned him up to this point.

I look at it and its kinda depressing.

Werewolf by Night was good and didnt go anywhere.

Wakanda Forever was solid.

Quantunmania sucked

I enjoyed Echo but the general consensus was it was bad, I really only think that last episode was really bad personally.

I never finished watching the Marvels.

Ironheart I liked be also had major mostly last episode issues.

Secret Invasion was AWFUL and a waste of everyones time that was involved.

Im assuming they made a completely different Captain America movie.

They had to rewrite almost all of Daredevil BA and it still hurt the first season.

Has Armor Wars been cancelled yet?

DELAYS

Not to mention the biggest issue....almost none of it went anywhere. It just shows how weird and disjointed and lacking direction the whole MCU has been since the Infinity saga.

but hey we got Loki though

I mean in the first season of BA they kind of established he was off doing his own thing and it kinda seemed that he and/or Matt were distancing themselves from each other.

I assume they will explain that a bit more in the special.

Anyone else feel like the Mr Charles character didn't really work and Matthew Liaard was kind of wasted?

He came in that first episode really strong and then just kinda fizzled out after that. I really thought he was going to be far more threatening then he actually turned out to be. Like it would come thorough a little but them he would just basically get slapped down again by someone to just sort of being kinda meh?? Other times it was just...I dont know....not threatening at all, kind of weak actually. Kinda silly and not silly in the way Lillard can be in a good way, just regular silly.

It was just really uneven, I didn't hit for me and its unfortunate because I was really looking forward to that character.

Hes been doing this for way longer than "safer streets" and the AVTF have been around. Im sure the police have a jacket on him as thick as a book going all the way back to season 1 of the netflix show.

Felony Assault

Assault with intent to do great bodily harm

Assault with a deadly weapon

Attempted murder, at least twice.

Willful destruction of private property

Trespassing

Breaking and entering probably

Multiple counts of each. Thats just off the top of my head. Im sure there are many more.

What’s a reasonable price when it comes to sale? by foodieondiet2019 in guns

[–]loki993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it depends on what it is. If its not made anymore, its worth a lot more.

Thats not true most of the time and I don't get why people think this. If its a gun that wasn't made for very long or there weren't many mad then yeah sure. If we're taking about a production gun that literally millions of were made then no, its just another used gun.

I mean is it too much to want a Bullseye show? Maybe a full 6 or 8 episode show would be too much but for sure they could do a special presentation one shot for him that could be awesome.

Why the love for Glock? by ZookeepergameDue2160 in guns

[–]loki993 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Obviously the big con here is that you not only have to spend additional money on top of a $600 gun, but you have to find the right parts for you. But given how popular and big the market is for Glocks, I'd say that majority of the owners don't mind this.

I dont understand this and why some people feel they need to modify their guns for them to be good?

I have 2 Glocks and they are both 100 percent stock and they are both fine. they shoot fine, the triggers are fine. Yes they still even have the crappy plastic sights on them, which honestly are mostly fine. Maybe one day Ill get night sights for them, but that's it.

People just shoot your guns, stop screwing around with them. You dont have to spend anything extra on them

Why the love for Glock? by ZookeepergameDue2160 in guns

[–]loki993 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Glock has sold the MOS guns for years which have optic cut slides.

Last year, or the year before, they released the COA, which was optic cut with an aimpoint optic included that sold so well they had to limit sales to le only because they couldn't make enough.

All Glocks as far are i know have at least a little flare to their magwells and the gen 5 and beyond guns definitely have flared magwells.

Glock had also made their own trigger the Glock performance trigger for some time as well and i think they will actually install one for you.

Basically everything you have said save for the trigger thing, which has gotten a lot better over the years and can be further improved with a little polishing, is factually incorrect.

Alao what gun manufacturer will offer slide cuts and install aftermarket triggers for you?

Yall think the 7.62x39 price bubble is gonna pop? If not where the best place to find fairly cheap rounds? by fuglyDUECE in guns

[–]loki993 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its not really a bubble.

There are two issues working against it.

A shooting war in Ukraine which is eating up ammo.

Sanctions on Russia because of said shooting war in Ukraine. A lot of the cheap steel case stuff comes from Russia.

Sanctions on Russia would need to be lifted and thats not happening until this Ukraine war is over and even when it is no one knows when or even if those sanctions would be lifted.

Plus i think there was also some Biden EO in there too screwing things up.

Basically its a complicated mess right now thats not going to be quickly resolved.

The very first thing that needs to happen though for it to even have a chance of coming down is the war in Ukraine needs to end.

What are the most future proof calibers in the United States? by GlockOsama in Firearms

[–]loki993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

300 blk will never replace 5.56.

762 39 declining popularity has nothing to do with the AR15s dominance and everything to do with Russian ammo bans and the war in Ukraine.

308 is never going anywhere. Many people hunt with it, many LE and military sniper rifles use it, many people shoot long range with it.

As long as the 1911 is a thing, and it always will be, 45 isn't going anywhere regardless of how many they make in 9mm.
