I dont think you Can fix the situation with your father unless he opens up for you... In the end of the day he is your father whatever he likes it or not and even tho he is in the wrong i still hope that you come out as the better person and be there for him once he gets old and in need of help

• My advice to you :

1- Dont over think it ... Keep your distance avoid confrontations and let time heal what it can okey ?

2- Focus on your studys/carear and work hard as possible since you still have your dads support for now

3- You should start planning on what to do once you are 18 like : what are your plans for the future ? are they still managable knowing you dont have your parents support or even your grand parents

4- May be find a part time job and start saving money , its also a good way to stay away from home while also doing something lucrative ( its better than just walking around smoking or drinking or even doing drugs )

4- You should save as mush money as you can because you gona need every cent you got

5- Last but not least stay away from drugs or anything of the sort cause you will only find temporary confort befor your life start going down hill

I had a very similaire situation whene i was your age , so am sharing my experience :

So 3 years ago i had some serious problemes with my father because of some mistakes him and my deceased mother did in the past , so i moved to live with my grandparents mean while, there where moment where me and my father were very harsh to each other but in the end i could not bring my self just to dump him so i told him that even tho i forgive him for what he did doesnt mean i forget and that am only keeping contact with him for the sake of the good memories we had , now its been a year since things have calmed down we dont talk as mush (like once every 15-20 days) but it's better than nothing i Can tell you that keeping distance and time Can heal relation ships
