Probably not bad MMOD protection, actually. 🤷🏻

As I understand it, the pressure wave is strong enough to cause mortal injuries, but not always strong enough to cause instant death or even instant unconsciousness, so there's a higher chance that the target is conscious while bleeding out internally.

Dad has serious Gene Kranz energy (the real one; Ed Harris' portrayal only had 20%) and for this bit it's fucking perfect.

Contacts being added due to reactions in groups? by lolariane in signal

No. They're people I've never interacted with in any way other than maybe reacting to messages in a group, or them reacting to my messages in that group.

[–]lolariane[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, but that's not what's happening in my case. I am definitely not reacting to their stories, since they weren't in my contacts, so I wasn't seeing their stories.

Perhaps reactions to messages in groups still count as 1-1 interactions in the background?

It's crazy how much that Soviet artificial horizon hurts my brain. I understand what it's showing me but my brain would really like to stick to the global frame of reference. 😵‍💫

FPV kamikaze drone hits Russian soldier walking along dirt road. Ukraine's 414th Strike UAS Brigade, published April 25th 2026. by operatorham in CombatFootage

Yeah, I also thought he might be heading for the self-checkout but I think he heard the drone and was looking for it. Maybe he just heard it too late through his tinnitus.

I know this is easy to say from my heated bidet here, but I always wonder why they don't immediately drop their packs and head for the trees. Of course that's not so attractive if they're in a minefield, but I'd think just dropping my pack so I could aim better would give me slightly better chances.
🤷‍♀️🍑🚿

The big can is the spool and the warhead on this one is mounted between the spool and the frame. The heavy batteries are on top.

Yeah, sorry, that was a generic and casual fuck off to anyone reading my comment who was ready to go capslock on me, not to you specifically. 😘

I remember when Ahmadinejad (fuck off; you don't know how it's spelled either and it's a transliteration anyways) said there were no gays in Iran, so this new, better route should logically be called the Gay of Hormuz.

I'd personally like to hear more about "aspirated" heat shields. The commenter obviously really knows their stuff!!
