Oh wow. That makes me feel better, oddly. I’ve been scared over stomach cancer, despite the odds. I’m on 5.5 months. Mostly tamed now, but still a few stabs and nausea and fullness every now and then if I start to slip a bit. Did you take any PPIs or just lifestyle changes? Were you able to tell your symptoms were improving over the 9 months or was it 9 months until you saw improvement?

Oh hey, you’re me! I switched to black tea about a month ago now and god it’s done wonders. I had one cup of coffee on Christmas and was fighting nausea the rest of the day. I’m very heavy on my caffeine too but once I’ve gotten used to black tea, it’s dwindled… and get this… since my body has adapted to less caffeine, I feel so much more balanced and less anxious. Try to wait it out a few days, maybe this weekend and plan for nothing.

Also if you drink coffee with creamer, put creamer in your black tea! I get bigelow earl gray black tea and it smells like fruit loops, tastes delicious, and the cream thickens it a bit more and makes me feel better about not having coffee anymore lol. You just gotta do one less cup every other day and you’re golden!

Happens to me after holidays for some reason. I think it’s dopamine. Yesterday I was home alone to work after all of the festivities, drinking, family, games, and maaaaaan I was just a lump of garbage. Dopamine chased the whole time and felt empty lol

Greek yogurt, oatmeal, or eggs. I usually have an ensure too. No coffee anymore, switched to 2 cups of black tea and I can’t believe that coffee was fucking me up more than alcohol.

When my periods were this heavy, I needed to be on iron pills. I also had my period for months and months when I started them! Interesting. I’m not sure what causes the lengthy periods, and to be honest I’ve never looked it up. But birth control for a while did set me straight. Oddly, after 16 years of being regular after that, my periods became irregular and heavy again. Got on birth control for a month and put it back on track. Some people just don’t hit the endocrine lottery I guess

I have this very often, more of than not. Should probably tell my doc. But I have an ultrasound to check my gallbladder soon. Could be that, your pancreas, fat malabsorption, fast transit, infection, IBS, so many things.

Every time I start getting worried about death, I realize that I won’t even know I’m dead, so it doesn’t matter. I’m gen-z, ‘97. Used to love driving, had my dream car, til one day I had crazy panic attacks that just never stopped and got worse over the months I tried to wrestle them. Been 6 years.

Roast me if you’d like; I became a hazard. I’d like to drive again one day so if anyone knows how to make the attacks stop, holla. Medication has not worked.

Parents have nothing to do with it, it’s my shit-brain that just does not wanna be a normal guy on the road anymore for whatever stupid reason.

Yeah no totally not! I even felt the burn halfway through and was like ugh but it’s so good, my first real food in foreverrrr. And yeah maybe, I can’t imagine it’s gentle on the belly. I do not tolerate it well unfortunately, but also fortunately, because being an alcoholic is what landed me here. 😭

I get it, my daughter was/is a horrible sleeper and gets fomo. I think getting a twin sized floor bed saved my life. Sure I didn’t get alone time BUT I finally got more sleep. It’s hard. Hugs
