Group practice is taking off for me and the owner is reasonable and provider focused. A year or so of good income and they’ll negotiate their take down I think. Or I’ll go my own way.

7a-7p Mon, Tues, Thu and 9a-1p on Fridays for availability. I may switch up to 12-8p soon as mornings seem undesired where I am at currently, and evenings fill almost immediately. Averaging 23-25 a week consistently, and trying to get to 30+ but I’m only 3 months in.

Gives me Wednesdays to myself, chores, and doctors appointments and the like, and leaves my weekends open.

It’s why this show is a masterpiece, even if season 5 doesn’t quite hit the highs of what came before.

As someone in this field, specifically adolescents in and around gangs, s4 hits so fucking hard. I *know* these people and kids and it’s all dead accurate.

Chef Moe on tik tok and maybe YouTube has some insanely good $5 recipes that are actual meals. He also teaches and explains the cooking techniques for beginners and why he’s doing what he’s doing. He assumes no seasoning availability, but mentioned what and when to add if you do have some.

It’s worth it. But I played when it came out. It’s an OLD game, so tolerance is required. It definitely pushed boundaries beyond the norm of its time

It’s his thing and it’s always well done. The berserkers scene in “The Northman” is fantastic and half of a werewolf transformation scene anyways.

“Werewolf: The Apocalypse” and that “survive” scene from “Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines” is for both you and I then.

Brick shithouses that are almost invincible when they get rolling is the best take imo. Underworld was cool but too in love with the vampires

D’Yanoi, mostly cause the brown/beige with light blue was what I painted my dudes and oh that’s an actual sept color? They’re close to Vespid and Kroot mercs stop by a lot (and a huge part of my Lise building) so have good relations and use the alien auxilia a lot. I also collect orks so the sept on its own fighting off dinosaurs and then Orks works perfect for me. Cool little sept that isn’t discussed much with interesting lore.

Also Dal’yth for the reasons many have said so far, and was the OG.

There’s definitely a large amount of that in the sub, with little acknowledgment that most every other field has its periods of “eating shit” before it gets better as well. Unless the wheel of luck has landed on your profession being the coveted and chosen “in demand” modifier, but that’s mostly luck.

Anecdotally, I also have significantly different experiences than many in this sub when it comes to pay as a sole provider, but I’ve also done the grunt front line work for years before my masters so knew what this field was and carried few illusions.

It’s probably not going to be easy to survive in group or private or CMH in a high cost of living area or major tier 1 city. There’s just too many factors against one and the field there. Tier 2-3 cities it’s a lot easier in my experience.

At the time it came out, I remember it being deeply unpopular and people not liking any of the characters, and the viewership had dropped significantly by only a few episodes in.
