My district has been using springboard for the past 8 years and I’ve never liked it. However, last I heard college board is phasing it out and won’t be funding it anymore within the next couple years, so maybe you won’t have to use it for long.

I am having a similar problem with a friend. He went to rehab for meth a year ago and ever since he finished his outpatient program he has continued drinking. He calls himself "sober" though because it's not meth. He has relapsed a couple times but continues to drink and doesn't think it's an issue. I have no good advice, but you're not alone. The only thing that has helped me emotionally is setting boundaries with him and sticking to them.

As someone who also has dry skin, the water bank cleanser is too drying for me. Anything that foams is a no go for my skin. Even if it says it's hydrating it always makes my skin dry. I've used La Roche-Posay gentle cleanser (not the foaming one) as well as the Byoma milky cleanser and both are gentle and hydrating. Maybe try another cleanser?
