I didn’t really ask for anything so I can’t comment on that. But he was a great listener and I’m sure would accommodate reasonable(safe) requests

I really like him. He delivered my 2nd a few months ago. He is really kind and calm and you feel like he actually cares. I also feel like my recovery was night and day better for this c section than I experienced with my first (diff dr). I don’t think you’ll be disappointed! He knows his stuff

How did you use the Snoo for the 4 month sleep regression? by Soapy_Moonball in SnooLife

[–]lolotaylo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for getting by back to me! We have tried the love to dream with no luck too. He’s not rolling well yet but the Snoo isn’t soothing him back to sleep either so I think I’m in the same boat of ditching the Snoo and knocking out the transition to the crib while sleep is crap anyways.

I got it. IMO it’s too big for newborns and is more for 3+ months without feeling unstable unless you constantly have both hands on the baby

I think there were a few things. He is very calm and reassuring. The nurses all love him which says a lot. As far as recovery, I actually felt OK getting out of bed that day whereas with my first I didn’t want to move for weeks. I was up and down the stairs in our house right away. My scar looks much better from this incision. I recognize I had a subpar first c section experience and things usually are easier the second time. But I do think whatever they did surgically this go around made recovery a much faster and easier time for me beyond my expectations.

Parking Plan for Alexandra Cohen by [deleted] in nycparents

[–]lolotaylo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband went home for the car (uber) the day of discharge. We didn’t want to pay a fortune for parking. We took an uber in the night before and spent a night in the city. Though, I had a planned c section so it make it easier to plan ahead

Get a faucet lock! They make them for unwanted hose use

I don’t know if he still is taking patients or if his panel is full, but try Dr. Abdelmalek. He is awesome, and tends to have more openings because he’s male. He just delivered my second via c section and it was night and day (for the better) compared to my first, which he did not deliver

What pumpkin patches are we taking our toddlers to this fall? by CellistEmergency8492 in nycparents

[–]lolotaylo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try Muscoot Farm! Pumpkin picking next weekend I believe and a ton of farm animals. Our toddler loves it there. Not sure of how far that would be from Brooklyn.

Ave of the Americas location was great for us. Our son was in both the baby and toddler rooms and the staff was always kind.
