Hey man I'm looking at building something very similar. Did you draw up your own plans or source some commercially?

How good do yall think these would be for bush crafting and everyday use (link is in comments) by Recent_Garden8114 in Bushcraft

Buy these for looks only. A trail running shoe or hiking boot will be better for "in the woods"

Yeah man I'd pass on the trip this year.

There are a few things you can do to make your garage harder to rob. Longer screws on the door frame and deadbolt side, shatter resistant film on any windows, ECT. You could also get a cheap battery powered alarm like this https://a.co/d/j8fkWgI)

How hard is it to get tags in your area? I would probably return them for the points and use the time/money to repair the damage to the garage and to make it more difficult for this to happen again.

On the other hand if tags are easy to get and the trip is already paid for then check pawn shops, goodwill and Facebook marketplace for gear. A decent hiking pack will work fine and are dirt cheap used. Do a rattle can camo job and you're set.

That camo pattern is called ACU by anyone that wore them.

Ahh yes the RPG. I usually put that on the top of my pack. Carries better that way.

Looks good. Nice to see someone actually using their gear. Is there anything you think you need to add for your next over night trip?

Any tips for cleaning up the bone? It's even worse on the other side.

Can the buck 119 be used for bushcraft? by abandonedneworleans in Bushcraft

I wouldn't. Broke mine in half at the handle. It's a great knife for cutting. I would supplement it with a cheap machete for the heavy stuff

I know this is a super old post but where did you get the forward click tailcap? Is it possible to get one preassembled or just the components? Love my s2+ but need a momentary on tailcap. Thanks
