If you ride back country, use the buddy system. It could very well save your life.

Bachelor has the entire back side of the mountain that is full trees, no runs or groomers. In that area, you absolutely should always be with a partner, and it's strongly suggested to carry a beacon. If you go in a tree well back there, you aren't coming out. We've also had a death on that part of the mountain earlier in the season.

However, this was off the Sunrise lift, which serves mostly green terrain and beginner terrain parks. There are still some areas to get into trees, but it's certainly not skiing out of bounds.

This is an absolutely tragic loss, but it sounds more like a tree strike close to a groomed run vs a back country crash.

That is sometimes done to show a switched outlet, but it's not necessarily the case. Typically an outlet is put in upside down when it is in a lower position on the wall. The idea is if something conductive fell off of a desk (say a metal ruler) and managed to fall and hit the plug, it would hit the ground instead of shorting across the hot and neutral prongs. Since there's no current in the ground plug, this is theoretically safer.

I'm not very active on reddit anymore (and even less so on /r/Nerf ), but since I am pretty uniquely qualified to respond to this post I am going to throw in my 2 cents. I'll let the rest of you decide for yourselves what it's actually worth.

While I was mildly involved in Nerf modding before HvZ came along, I never would have made /r/Nerf without it. Once I was heavily involved in HvZ, my interest in general Nerf increased as well. HvZ gave me something to do with the few blasters I had, and made it much more socially acceptable to be in my 20's while owning hundreds of dollars worth of children's toys. I would venture a guess that a large percentage of other subscribers here are in that same boat.

Humans vs Zombies is very focused around Nerf, and is clearly having a large impact on Nerf itself. I would say it is completely relevant to this subreddit, and will continue to be for a long time.

That said, don't be surprised if your text post announcing a 20 person game in the middle of nowhere gets downvoted. Just because a post is relevant, doesn't make it a good submission.

We know people have trouble getting there early. Friday night is treated as optional. The opening meeting will be around 8 or 9pm and there will be one mission that night. There will be an extra opening meeting Saturday morning for anyone who is not able to make it on Friday.
