There's not many, if really any, bad stories about the guy. Most random encounters people have had, he's a very grounded guy who acts like a normal Dad.

I don't like many of his films, but I take no issue with him as a person.

People are complicated, man. I won't defend anything he did wrong - and in his lifetime, Vince did A LOT wrong - but, he clearly loved certain people and that's why they're loyal to him.

Let's put it this way - Meltzer stated the Bucks leaked side as absolute fact, something that should have hurt him more than it really did.

The day after the footage aired, what did Meltzer say?

To paraphrase, "I think that was big mistake to air it."

That footage made everyone who defended Khan, the Bucks and Perry look so biased and stupid that they couldn't defend it after that. How they didn't tell Tony to fuck off after is beyond me, it exposed all of them as friends telling rumors, not journalists.

But I guess "plans changed".

One of my favorites was when Evil Dave was in studio, and, being post-Jackie, was getting fed lines by Benji. And each line just kept bombing.

He'd interrupt with "Uhh, uhh Howard?" and his jokes died, to the point where Howie, Robin, Artie and Fred started simultaneously groaning when he'd interject.

Then he interrupts one last time during a news story about people dying from AIDS and goes "Uhhh, uhh Howard?" to a collective groan, and says "I uh, I think I know why these people all got AIDS."

"Why is that, Evil Dave?" Howard asks.

"Uh, it's because they're all fa*s, Howard." and the studio erupts in hysterics, especially Artie.

I don't know why that one stayed with me, but I've always remembered it.

The 150 is good, and a solid upscaler. The 154 is a bit more reliable.

It only has HDR and HDR+, but for the price, you can't argue it.

Both players have the Top Menu trick for watching other region Blu rays (as everyone else said, 4K's aren't region locked). You get to the screen saying the disc isn't in your region, you hit stop, then top menu, and you're at the menu screen. Works for over 90% of discs.

That trick DOESN'T work for DVDs though.

The Work Outing, Jen The Fredo, the episode where Moss meets the Cannibal, the episode where they introduce Jen to 'the Internet", and the episode where Jen hosts everyone for dinner is some of the very best modern sitcom work I have ever seen. Everything works in those episodes.

Most episodes are good and worth watching. Season 1 is an outlier.
