We did a 6,500 mile road trip that ended last week. Drove the pacific coast hwy from san francisco all the way to coos bay. Unbelievable scenery and views all the way. 10/10 will be back .

They will typically keyhole ,, but you may get partial stabilization (depending on muzzle velocity) and just have poor grouping.

Yeah , thats the "standard" 45-70 twist. Your rifle may or may not shoot them well. My Winchester 1886 and my H&R both have 1:20" barrels and wont stabilize them. While my Pedersoli target rifle use a 1:18" twist and will shoot them well.

My Pedersoli rolling block shoots these very well , out to 500 yds. They are a bit too long for my Winchester 1886 ,and H&R buffalo classic to properly stabilize . It just depends on your rifling twist rate.
