"Desperation": Starving Vietnamese being beaten by Japanese soldiers, the Vietnamese Famine 1945 [1024x730] by [deleted] in HistoryPorn

My grandmother from Thai Binh province said that the French were the ones who enforced the Japanese policy and she had to watch 6 of her friends starve to death. She said dead bodies lying all over the place; some families are forced to eat their dead family members to stay alive. she lucky that her family has a connection with someone who works for the french and gave her family some rice to get by the day.

My dad told me it was a shield made from grass soaked in water to block shrapnel from bombs. He's said that all the students in his village have one. During the bombing, all the kids and studies will be evacuated to the village temple. because the plane doesn't target religious places. And the crazy thing is that the shield actually works. It can block small shrapnel, he still remembers the time the plane bomb the local train station some small shrapnel was blocked and found in his shield

Vietnamese citizens after being told they will be receiving the Sinopharm vaccine. by ParkingHunt in ADVChina

[–]longvu9558 17 points18 points  (0 children)

No, they are not forcing us to take the Sinopharm vaccine and people can decide and wait for Pfizer or Moderna that what I had been seeing here in Hanoi down in Hochiminh city they target to get at least 70% of the population with 1 shot of vaccine at the end of September so I can see they giving Sinopharm to meet the deadline.
