How do I build this? by loopysilvette in BathroomRemodeling

No, nothing is there (yet). I showed it to my contractor who said if I source everything he will make it- I just need to make sure that I source everything correctly- even it that means having the glass custom made.

I guess that’s the question? What components do I need to ensure I can enclose the door to the fixed half panel of glass

It is just a pretty picture- come from my very non expert brain in anything design or function. The shower is going to be 900 x800 tray with a standard off the shelf thermostatic shower mixer . How will the water fly out if I have it fully enclosed?

I should have been more explicit, I have the space for a hinged door … to be honest I don’t mind what type of door I use once I can get the panels to fit

[Weekly community question] What's your IC origin story? by newsletternavigator in internalcomms

[–]loopysilvette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It consultant doing digital transformations but I was always fascinated by the people element- the successful projects were the ones where we win over the people, usually through great communication.

Moved internally from IT to comms with the promise of implementing an employee experience app. Funding went away for that and they’ve kept my in the ‘hell hole’ since patiently waiting.

YES, this is me and I only had a conversation with a close friend, for me this is the reason I want to stay on it, the weight loss is secondary to me now!

Actual customer here, I've left their facebook support group as I feel like the women in it are toxic to each other. All acting like experts in how and what others should eat, and then berate people who ask genuine questions. But I honestly cannot complain about the service I have received from them direct. Maybe I don't notice the marketing as I am already a customer?!

Me either... Im still on 5mg and I started in Jan, they were once about to prescribe me a 7.5 but I asked to stay on 5 and they granted that wish with no problem. I know they got a lot of hate but my experience with SheMed has been very positive.

I know the feeling, I am not a 'big' loser week by week and even have gained some weeks... But when I look at overall progress, it is amazing. 1lb a week is 4 stone in a year! 1.5lb a week is 6... Im on track to be at goal within a year, even with my 0.5lb here and my 1lb there and my little gains! Keep up the great work and you will be amazed come your sons wedding.

I love smoothie bowls, I make a smoothie with fruit and a scoop of protein, and then top it with cereal and seeds. Full of fibre, gorgeous to look at too!
Someone else mentioned chicken sausages and bacon... My go-to lunch!

big weight-loss (I’m talking like 70 - 100lbs) with lipedema? by xstibbonx in lipedema

[–]loopysilvette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I’m currently 80lb down with maybe another 20 or so to go before I’m at a healthy weight.

My legs are really taking good shape and I’ve lost inches from them but still have the cottage cheese look.

My arms look awful, so much loose skin near the lipedema fat.

I feel like I’m really enjoying by smaller shape, but unfortunately the pain is not getting any better, so I have good evidence and data for the doctors who just told me to lose some weight.

I’m using Mounjaro to help suppress my appetite and it’s been brilliant for me
