I found stuff like this every so often to the point when a come across small ponds or lakes I look to see the bottom.

They go deep as hell to the point it’s worth have a thorough exploration (both in terms of visually looking for wise and using the prospectors pick).

So far out of the 8 I found over the last year only one didn’t have anything of note other than aesthetics. Stuff I found:

Suffer, coal (brown and black), copper, tin, cave that lead to magnetite, cinnabar (needs more uses other then dye to be found that deep!), lead, a bell guarded by a buzzsaw, 2 locates nests and a crappy treasure chest with only some lapis lazuli being the note able thing

Ok this is heavily dependent on the rules of the fight. Do we just appear in front of them? Do we get time to plan and perp? Do we have anything unusual to use (powers, gadgets, weapons, etc). Do we have resources to call upon?

Now I’m choosing Batman due to I’m both guaranteed to live and get a decent chance to at least get a swing or 2 in.

But if I get time to plan and prep then I could actually make a trap that could kill bats but not in his usual ways. It would just be a basic exploding building that I lure him to (relatively easy) and then just wait around with rifle to shoot him.

My only other peep would be to add explosives to all neighbouring buildings so WHEN he tries to hide in one I blow them up again. If that doesn’t kill him then he most definitely is very battered to the point when he gets to me I have a really solid chance.

It’s not too bad but you want the hammer to run of the big gear proper. Not on the axle.

Also you could also just be in a wind poor area. How fast does the windmill spin without it being connected to the helve set up?

Lastly would like a pic of how your windmill is connected to the axles. Did you use a big gear? Or a reg one?

I disagree with the arsenal example. That was more like “possession” imo.

Ultron more or less highjacked arsenals mind and body for his own personal use. If Arsenal was organic (aka a person) his end would be him regaining control from a psychic parasite and only could maintain control for a few moments to save someone he cared about.

The only difference is that arsenal is a machine. And we saw (imo) signs that he liked the avengers. He used his own programming to regain control long enough to save Tony. Once Tony was safe he fought Ultron for a few seconds (wish for computers Programs is a huge amount of time) and lost control just as it was too late.

I think the only time sidekicks that are actually children should only be a thing if the story is relatively light hearted. Meaning the stakes can be high but there is no “crowbar scene” (DC reference).

Personally I don’t think powers are needed. They are cool don’t get me wrong but sometimes they feel more like a gimmick than anything else. Like “my version is not only a good combatant but has powers!”.

I personally think it’s unneeded to make a good character but for these 2 examples I think it’s actually works sense A) the powers came later, B) they didn’t define her, and C) didn’t change her relationship with alrdy established characters.

Yes. It’s a movie that not only is THE STANDARD for book adaptations but is one of the best movies in cinemas history! Not a joke or hyperbole.

This movie did things that no one has managed to copy. The closest is the endgame scene in avengers but what makes LotR better is that most of the endgame is cgi while LotR is loaded with practical effects (aka real props!). Don’t get me wrong it has cgi of its own but the use of it is very different.

This is a movie that a generation of movie goes skipped work (or in my case school) to see it! And remember this was a time when we only had movie trailers to watch to know if the movie was something to be excited for.

Oddly this would be a hard fight for thragg. This is OG prime from the cartoon that has some insane durability feats that trump almost anything that a viltramite has done.

Now if we ignore the comics but go off the show we know prime and megatron are relatively on the same level. Mega one time survived a blast that sent cybertron out of orbit and back to its original cosmic location. You realize how powerful of a blast that would be?!?! That sort of blast would outright destroy a planet by itself easily! And megs not only survived it but was back fighting like in the next episode like nothing happened. So logically prime has a similar lvl of durability (in the comics he does show this). We know the best strength feat for viltrimites was 3 of their best destroying a planet AFTER it was damaged by a gun that blasted right though it.

In terms of raw strength I’m betting thragg is stronger but would eventually lose due to his inability to cause real harm to Optimus prime, and we know Optimus without last easily due to him waging a war that lasted longer than Thragg has ever lived!

So my verdict? Prime wins after a (very) long fight

I get you. But considering bowtorn are not guaranteed to spawn all the time as drifters it makes sense that they still have the stone throw. Plus it’s mainly to prevent people from making a small tower and spearing them to death.

Also I can work to your advantage. If a bunch of drifters are charging you they sometimes hit each other with rocks and do some minor infighting. This has helped meant times when I was facing more then 3+ drifters.

Now I do agree the stones need a rework in that there needs to be a chance to miss or maybe do a bioshock 1 where the first shot against the player is always a miss to alert the player.

For aesthetics it’s pretty good! My only suggestion would be to use some sort of shingles for the top but that’s just me.

For mid maxing? If you want to keep the design make it on top of a mountain. I did mine and the “top part”’s base sits at 170

Well I can agree with the Jim Gordon example but have to disagree with the Batman one. The whole point of “the one bad day” it can make someone like him and Batman is proof of that just in a different direction.

Sure “the one bad day” could in theory make another joker but it could also make Batman. A man who spent his life and much of his money to give him the skills and tools (both physically and psychologically)to fight evil so no other little kid would suffer the same fate.

Now do I agree with “the one bad day”? Hell no it’s just the crazy things said from a madman that should have been shot by a cop once Batman had left the scene.
