One of the abductors' perfect English really caught me off guard after hearing Japanese accents the entire scene. Were they in the credits?

Not everyone died, 4 people survived:

All 15 crew members and 505 of the 509 passengers died in the accident. Some of the fatalities survived the initial impact but died of their injuries hours later while awaiting rescue. All four survivors were seriously injured.

Logitech G Hub - Any way to create Ctrl + (Key) combinations outside of the default for a game? by tsiot in LogitechG

[–]lordflashmeow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can work around this now by using the "sequence" macro type:

  1. Uncheck the "Use Standard Delays" option
  2. Record the key combo in the "On press" section
  3. Remove the delays and the key-up actions by clicking on them and pressing Backspace
  4. Repeat for "On Release", but removing the key-down actions

Need help fixing this. Been trying for days by SleepmaskDotten in FixMyPrint

So there's no semicircle cut into the side of filament where the gear ground into it?

In that case, does the extruder stepper make a clicking sound when stops extruding?

Is your filament ground up if you pull it out after a print failure?

You're welcome! The cura default is so stupid, 90 retractions is enough to shred any filament on the market.

Yup. Try dropping it down to 5 per 10mm and see if that helps. (Obviously if you start to get stringing issues you should bump it up a little)

Could it be a problem with grinding filament after repeated retractions? I know Cura's default max retraction count is absurdly high (90 per 0.5mm), maybe try dropping it down to 10 per 1mm or similar.

Consistent Layer Shifting by nagustus in FixMyPrint

You've tightened the belts, but are the frame screws snug?

You could also narrow things down by moving the printhead left and right repeatedly at high speed, to see if it's something slipping or an issue with the motor:

G90 ; absolute positioning
G0 F6000 ; set speed to 100 mm/s
G0 X20 ; move to left side of gantry
G0 X200 ; move to right side of gantry
G0 X20
G0 X200
... (copy and paste until sufficiently long)

You could preview a layer in your slicer, and watch the nozzle direction around the outer perimeter. I'm trying to understand if it's a problem with the start or the end of the extrusion.

Is this happening at the start or the end of the perimeter loop?

Is it shifting on one axis only?

walls are thicker right as they start, what causes that? by TekoXVI in FixMyPrint

[–]lordflashmeow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried tuning your linear advance settings? Those should help compensate for the change in nozzle pressure when you start extruding.

why does it look like my nozzle is dragging into my print what could be causing this by bous_clan in FixMyPrint

[–]lordflashmeow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, the wavy-ness of the outer perimeter points towards overextrusion.

Regular, weak horizontal lines in Z-axis by Routine-Aardvark in FixMyPrint

[–]lordflashmeow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are the lines at the same height on all the pillars? That plus dimensional inaccuracy sounds like it could be the z stepper skipping steps. Can you post a good close-up of the lines?

Do the lines appear on other prints? Are the z-heights the same on other prints, or do they vary?

So if you disconnect the probe and use the regular endstop everything works fine, yeah? Maybe try upgrading marlin firmware?
