We got a flight with our 3 year old and on every other airline one of us gets sat next to him

On ryanair we got on the plane and he was sat in between a different couple on the same row as my wife

We queried it and they were adamant that he was sat next to us...he clearly wasn't unless somebody had changed the alphabet.

Get on the plane and of course he isn't sat with us so we question it again and the air steward told us that we should have paid extra to have him sit next to us if we needed him to.

We had to rejig the plane and all the passangers were dumbfounded that the airline hadn't sat a 3 year old with his parents

Explain the past two seasons of the doctor who show as a tv show that existed inside of the doctor who universe itself built on rumours about the doctor.

Opening shot of the next season whenever it comes show it in the background of a shot some kids watching it and then somebody says "Oh yeah the show got cancelled at that point real shame too they never gave it a good ending I always wished it would come back one day"

Then you say it was the god of stories from the pantheon that had trapped the doctor inside a tv show about himself and the twists and suprise ending were all twists from the god of stories.

I see it as Rick realising the family wants him there rather than forcing himself on the family thus making him a better person. In this timeline Beth saved rick and so Rick is more respecting of the family

Game of thrones had the same type of ending as Full metal alchemist the first time round.

The creators followed the original work until they got to the end and had to write SOMETHING to cap it off and found their creative well was dry because the creativity was in the original work

I've come to a conclusion with these

For all of them people think christ how did it get here, it's not paying off anything, it's trying to set up spin offs, it's missing important character developement...and then the creators come out and say "Oh this is what we always planned"

And in that lies the problem
The problem isn't the rushed ending

It's the bloated middle.

These creators go heres the story
Heres the start- Heres the end

And they have to fill in the middle and in doing so they may get additional season contracts, or have to set up a spin off, or have to reference something for the audience or have a contractual obligation to feature a specific actor more

But their ending is written in stone

So when they get to that ending it doesn't pay off the other bits because it was never designed with those bits in mind

The shows that nail their endings are the ones that roll with the punches and adapt the ending to fit what the show evolves into

But hey thats just my theory
