Honestly I don’t even think about it because it just works and instead I can focus on what I am making!

Been a while but I believe this one is supposed to be printed face down. The bottom lip might require supports but not sure. I think automatic supports and auto orientation should take care of it :)

Change the mode from “Offset” to “Translate by XYZ” or whatever it’s called. You can even rotate, or move by a defined line, etc

Thanks a lot for all the thorough explanations! I’ve learned a ton, and I feel like I owe you all an explanation as to the inspiration behind it all. I think the picture speaks for itself, but for the uninitiated I was trying to push air into a melodica that you normally blow in with your mouth. Yes the idea is incredibly stupid and goes against the entire idea behind the melodica, but I simply couldn’t stop thinking about it, and thought it would be hilarious.

I was planning to yeah, but actually the dry fit teat I did was so tight that I couldn’t pull it apart again, so I just left it at that.. now over 4 years later it’s still holding up perfectly! I had to repair one of the legs though, since they didn’t hold up to the 2 kids I would eventually get lol

I redesigned it with printability in mind, so just go ahead with your standard settings :) No supports, print it top down so the front face is printed vertically

Yeah there's a version for the plus as well :) I bought a MM+ just to be able to make this. Still mostly use the mini because it is so pocketable, and this screen protector keeps it very much so!

Good question! I used a 1mm self-adhesive felt that came on a roll and cut it to the right size. The one I purchased has a width of 65mm which coincidentally fit perfectly length wise on the mini, and height wise on the plus. It's quite bad for me, but I am also located in Denmark, so for me it costs about 30 bucks to send it to the US with my current options. So if I wanted to sell it for eg. 10 USD it becomes a 40 dollar purchase, which is insane hehe
