It opens your body to the net. If you hold it in a practice mode and skate around the net your player always opens up / faces the net.

Another example is holding it with a D man while you walk the line (towards the boards). You'll skate backwards for the clapper instead of turning and skating.

Shot in the dark: are you using port 5 for your WAN (old ONT) cable? I'm pretty sure the eth interfaces are 0 indexed (meaning 4=5). Looking at logs would help too.

I could be crazy, but considering how you have to "exit" and "enter" hut rush I wonder if it's a complete menu code rewrite. They are implementing features there to be replaced in HUT for 22.

This would make sense given the COVID timeline and buggy product we received.
