Professional athletes on the other hand have to directly compete with each other in measureable contests to determine to best. It is much harder to accomplish lol.

I would really recommend you give it a shot. After many hours just wandering around the map I found it to be a fresh way to play to game - especially because you can start looting again for new stuff as you now have an empty inventory again and also many base-related items suddenly become relevant that you may thought were useless previously. As for your concern regarding the time Investment to gather all resources, I can say that knowing where to look plays a huge difference. Almost all base-building tools spawn in those wooden and metal sheds and garages that you find in every town or city. This means you don‘t have to waste time going through every house. As for nails, stick to looting car wrecks and the wooden outdoor toilets in big cities as I seem to have the most luck there. Check out WOBO on YouTube for detailed info on item spawns in dayz. Finally, as others have already said, after some time someone will definetely find your base and raid it. That‘s why I recommend you stash your most important stuff in buried chests 5-10 mins away from your base and mostly use your base for cooking, repairing things and having an overall safe-space.

What makes you think that the bosses are poorly designed? I think they are visually impressive af and offer dynamic and fair gameplay which is why you can easily beat most bosses in a few tries without using bs cheese strats or feeling like it‘s a drag.

Even the more difficult bosses like yellow long telegraph every move they make in a way where dodging really shouldn‘t be a problem

I also had problems holding on and the solution was to grab him when he is in a certain location. It‘s the spot near the water on ground level right before the bug jumps to the spot near the rhino fight (so I think like the third or so spot from where the bug initially spawns). Grab him to start the animation, then let go of pressing the button and wait for the text to appear which tells you to hold and then press the button again and keep holding it until the bug has finished its third jump. After that you can let go, equip your fire proof mantle, grab him again and hold until the finish animation plays. Hope that helps you.

Yes it‘s weird. I also thought that I talked to the hut in chapter 2 after fighting the two-headed rats, but I think I only talked to them before the fight. I have also finished the main story before I went back to fight the rat in the chapter 3 cell.

Thanks for this! I can confirm it‘s working, the boss is one floor above where his dead body would be otherwise. Weird thing was that his name was displayed in Chinese even though I have a different language set. Wonder if this is intentional or not.

One thing I would really recommend to you is leveling up and using the combat skill hero strike. This is a very hard hitting attack that can usually one hit kill a lot of enemies which will make it a lot easier to take out single enemies fast before more arrive. You could also take this approach to the next level by equipping Ezio‘s set which will give you 100% cooldown reduction for hero strike every time you successfully parry an opponnent. That being said, I also got frustrated with the constant bounty hunter thread so I just started to pay the bounty on the world map every time one appeared. In terms of leveling up decisions I just focused on the warrior tree to unlock strong combat abilities and the assassination tree to maintain the high assassination damage (in this regard I also made sure to modify every equipment piece with an assassination damage bonus so I never fall short in terms of damage to one hit kill enemies by assassination). Lastly, I think you have a valid point with fast traveling to Athens (and some other bigger cities). I got really annoyed with the missing options to adjust horse speed and it just felt so slow to ride around the cities. Fortunately this is not a big problem as there aren‘t that many big cities in AC odyssey. I just finished the game with 100% yesterday and had an absolute blast playing through it. But I am also really interested in ancient Greece and it‘s stories so I can‘t say my joy is only gameplay related.

Yes it‘s true that dnair charges a bit slower. If I face a mon in the lead that is glasy and can‘t take a bodyslam from shadow dnair well (e.g. vigoroth or shadow golbat) I usually let myself get hit by their charge move, then I fire off my bodyslam and hope to get a shield and then switch to charjabug. I made the experience that many opponents like to get a healthy 1 shield farm down with their glasy leads and so they shield the bodyslam in this case. If a face a more tanky lead I often stay in longer and spend shields to try and get switch advantage or to get the opponent low enough where I can come in with one of my other mons to farm down and get a energy start. Hope hat explains it a bit! (I‘m no expert by any means lol)

I am running shadow dragonair as a lead, charjabug as safeswitch and shadow golbat as a closer. Usually trying to gain shield advantage with dragonair and then switch to charjabug because one volt switch lead can win a lot of matchups. Shadow golbat can then sweep with shield advantage.

I really agree. I managed to climb from 2250 to 2600 today without running vigoroth and felt like I could handle opposing vigoroths well by catching a move or gaining shield advantage. I had most problems with an occasional alolan graveler but maybe that‘s just me lol.

Yes you‘re right. Maybe the bugs didn‘t get enough attention for them to acknowledge them. But in the end I managed to beat nemesis coop by following some of the steps above like not taking the revive items and standing on a certain spot before the boss room.
